Tom Keifer wrote most of those Cinderella songs himself anyway. Not sure why he'd want to do a solo album.

He stated in an interview that the last time the band tried to write a cd, lawyers got involved and nobody enjoyed the situation. He said that he wouldn't rule out another Cinderella album if everyone was on board for it. Who knows? Maybe we'll get another one eventually.

it sounds good, really good and I don't own a Cinderella cd, I didn't even know who this guy was...I was trying to watch a video on you tube and his new song came up as one of those annoying ads but it sounded great.

Tom is extremely talented. He's not only the singer AND lead guitarist, but he also writes all of the songs (for the most part). VERY talented dude. I blasted his live performance on here a year or two ago, and after watching it again a couple of weeks ago... I think I was smoking crack. Lol!! It was an awesome performance. You owe it to yourself to pick up at least the first two cd's. That's all I own, but now I'm on a quest to buy the rest of their albums. Might do it this weekend. Hope you like them. Now go check your PM at WTF! :D

Has he done other solo cd's?

Long Cold Winter is a great album, one of those I wore out the tape and had to get the cd.

I'm not really familiar with the rest of the band members. He is listed as the lead guitarist, but most of the solos on the concert dvd I have has Tom playing most of the lead. He was sharing some of that responsibility, but I thought he was the main guitarist. At least in the video I have. Maybe I'm wrong?

Here's an example of what I'm talking about. Jeff is listed as the lead guitarist, but most of the show I've seen has performances like this...

Here's an example of him playing an instrumental solo, then Jeff takes over. They trade off which is pretty cool!

This is probably the coolest example (although the vocals aren't the greatest in this one). Here's Tom playing piano, singing lead, playing rhythm guitar, then playing lead. AWESOME talent!! And he wrote the song to boot. :D

Cool story about how you dug the song, and didn't know it was Tom from Cinderella. Reminded me of how The Alarm wrote an album years ago, under another name, with some young looking dudes in the video and it charted and sold.

Cinderella was probably the most underrated 80's band and they were better than 90% of them. The first 2 albums kicked

Liam's ass all over Texas. Gypsy Road has a Killer riff as do a lot of their other tunes. As far a Keifer's solo release, I wasn't

impressed. It could have used some input from his bandmates to make it heavier. To bad this legal shit always seems to get

in the way of a good thing.

I hate to hear that. I still haven't pulled the trigger on this one yet. I was waiting to hear what people think of it first. Some of it sounds pretty good on the samples, but I'm not sure its worthy of a purchase. Anyone else get it?
