Anyone have an older Sony Video8 Handycam for sale?

Postby JRNYMAN » Tue May 28, 2013 11:24 am

I have a bunch of video tapes that I need to transfer to digital format but my camcorder took a dump a while back. They were shot using an older model Handycam that utilized Video8 cassettes. I've been watching CL for a while and aside from a couple that were priced ridiculously high, there haven't been any listed. If you have one that works that you are willing to sell, please let me know. I'll of course pay all costs associated with the sale and delivery of it.

Thanks!

Ebay is not an automatic go-to for most peeps. A couple weeks ago I was looking for a particular guitar and having searched everywhere else I found it on Ebay. The guitar was a 1960's - early 1970's era Franciscan. I was fond of it because I played it back in high school and wanted a quality nylon strung guitar. I found one at a reasonable price and it was in mint condition. It was made in Japan in the early 70s. It looks great and has fantastic tone. It just arrived a few days ago and I just finished restringing it.

Didn't forget about it so much as didn't really think about it as a source for this particular item since it's pretty much "vintage' status at this point. Then again, I'm notorious for telling people to check eBay when they're looking for something obscure or hard to find.
Note to self: Practice what you preach, dumbass!

I know it does! I saw your latest pic on your FB page earlier today and I commented on the pic you posted the day it arrived. It's Bee-u-tee-ful! And, I'll bet it sounds very warm and rich with nylon strings on board.
