I'll be going to that. My bro is a big Cowboys fan and it's just right up from us. Of course, though, I'll be there to see the Black and Gold SHRINE in the Hall. 8)

Cleveland Brown Fan's obituary. This is classic.

He respectfully requests six Cleveland Browns pall bearers so the Browns can let him down one last time.

That's cool, man. Just do me a favor...root for Randle to be a good, solid RB. We need a running game to stand a CHANCE, let alone win. Tired of Murray missing a lot of time. Good when he's healthy, but he's made of glass.

Look at NFL.com taking on Joe Montana as "overrated" and saying that he isn't even the best QB to play for that team! Incidentally, I've been making the Jerry Rice argument for years!

http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap100000 ... iters_over

Joe Montana -- QB, 1979-1992
Before you break something important, listen. Montana was a very good quarterback. I'll even allow him as a GREAT quarterback. But he is NOT the best quarterback of all time. You could argue he's not even the best quarterback in 49ers history. He had a supporting cast that included Jerry Rice, Brent Jones, Roger Craig and coach Bill Walsh. Think Dan Marino, Warren Moon or Jim Kelly couldn't have won a couple of titles with that group? Even after connecting with Dwight Clark on "The Catch", it took a game-saving tackle by Eric Wright to prevent the Cowboys from going to the Super Bowl. Oh, and about the whole "might not be the best QB in 49ers history" ... Steve Young has a better completion percentage, passer rating, 3,500-plus rushing yards and 37 rushing touchdowns.

This is going to be a very interesting season for my Steelers. I have decided to sit back, lower my expectations and watch to see if this team responds to an ugly 8-8 season that lost the edge to win the close games they were so good in winning over the years.

That was the missing ingredient in '12, finding ways to win in a new system ontop of nagging injuries to key players. The Steelers knew how to fluctuate with the never-ending injuries in the Bruce Arians offense and knew how to win in that offense when the time was right. This year, a ton of question-marks are adding up but they still have a very nice nucleus if they find a way to win in Haley's system. Curious to see how much of the load second round draft pick Le'Veon Bell will handle as a rookie.

The Steelers simply need a play-action attack offense to help Ben see the field and it's going to start with the running game. They are going to a new zone-blocking scheme, so things will be different in opening holes athletically than pounding a square peg in a round hole. If they can get the run game going, we have a great shot at the NORTH. Not sure if Super Bowl talk is in the cards this pre-season, which is weird, but they could fly under the radar if they put it together.

Personally, I'm kinda surprised we got to 8-8 last year with the clusterfuck of injuries we had. Murray, Sean Lee, DWare...etc. DWare played, but did 11.5 sacks with basically one arm.

That, and Rob Ryan's an overrated piece of shit D-Coordinator. We beat y'all last year because of Carr's instincts knowing Haley's work, not because of Ryan's planning.

Fixed  Steelers were up by 7 at that point in the 4th and Brown's fumble was the play of the game. He later fucked up another punt and decided not to field a ball that would have easily been fielded to give the Steelers a chance to get a few plays within FG range.

Instead, he let it bounce about 20 yards downfield and the game went into O.T. Antonio Brown shows promise, but the dude fucked up too often in '12 and needs to work on ball security. He ruined 2 wins by himself by being careless with the football. 1 of those 2 games gets the Steelers into the post-season, Dallas included.

Oh I know....HUGE turning point in that game. But Carr's pick sealed it. I was just pointing out that he didn't listen to Ryan, and we won. Ryan's a fat fuck.

Yeah, being there, I knew it was picked before Ben even threw the ball. Carr broke on it pretty damn early and seemed like he tapped right into our huddle haha. Def familiar with Haley on that call. Kudos to him...fuckin diarrhea for us 8)

I like seeing all the rookies that were just drafted plus its the first look at football after nearly a half year of waiting. The one thing i love about preseason is that it means football is back and ready to take over from September until January. The one thing i don't like is no sport has a longer offseason than football which means waiting half the winter, all spring and nearly all summer for it to return. As long as Goodell doesn't do anything to drastic i think NFL football will always be the most popular and most watched sport. The league is set up perfectly and each year before the season starts literally almost every team in the league thinks they have a shot to go far. Each year there are at least a half dozen teams that make the postseason that didn't the year before. Before the season starts every team has a clean slate and unlimited expectations as far as what they think they can accomplish.I don't think anyone thought Seattle would improve like they did last season and the crazy thing is they had just signed a free agent QB to come in and lead the team and he gets beat out by a rookie that comes in and plays beyond his years.Russell Wilson wasn't even drafted until the third round but now Seattle has a good QB that barely takes up much cap space so they went out and got more talent in free agency such as Percy Harvin one of the best WRs in the league that will help out an already powerful offense. The defense was already good but they still went out and got free agents Cliff Avril,Michael Bennet and Antoine Winfield so that team will be good on both sides of the ball.I could be wrong but i don't see the 49ers surprising people like they did last year.I still think they will do well but i don't think they will get as far.I think the NFC could very well come down to Seattle/Atlanta i think both of those teams will be really tough..In the AFC i think things could come down to New England/Denver but the season has yet to get here and like i said earlier there are always surprises every year and this one will be no exception.

I invest a lot of excitement in pre-season ball. Not only does this anticipate the live-action competition and roster spot battles within camp, but most of these kids are groomed to be the FUTURE of the football team, especially by the way an organization like the Steelers build their team through the draft so you bet that pre-season is bigger than what most fans deem worthy. NO DOUBT.

I watch also, mostly following of course Miami. Helps you see where the brass fucks up Christmas at. I know we got that first of 5 pre-season games with your Cowgirls Liam, to bad it isn't a regular season ass-whipping.

And in anticipation of the upcoming season ( and what inspired me to do this was the NFL network), I have bought a lot of qb's jersey's of the past to wear on game day. Reason being, I wanted to and I loved watching them play. From Dawson, Fouts, Tarkenton, Lamonica I have my fav from just about every team minus some.
