Bad Company

Anyone here seen the 40th anniversary tour this year? I just bought tickets for a September show, from what I've seen on YouTube really looking forward to it. 64 years old - damn PR sounds good :)

Wish I'd been able to see it but they didn't play in my area.

Oh, and apparently they are reissuing Holy Water and Dangerous Age as a 2 on 1 CD sometime in September.

if it's anything like it was a year or two ago, it's a good show, but almost a ripoff at 80 minutes long. With the prices today, that's simply unacceptable for a headline act.

I saw them a couple of years ago and the band sounded great. Paul still has an amazing voice and stage presence. I don't think you'll be disappointed.

I saw them with Brian Howe back in the early 90's with Damn Yankees and was amazed at their live sound... by far the best i've ever heard.

I saw Bad Company with Brian Howe with Winger opening and had a good time at the show.

Fabulous show last night. Paul does indeed sound great and has amazing stage presence (looks pretty damn fine for 64 too  ). I agree it's pretty disappointing to only have a 90 minute show for the prices; it was the same when Heart played here earlier this year. That's OK though - I feel fortunate to have seen 2 of my favorite bands grace the stage in our small city this year (actually 3, if I count Honeymoon Suite - and that one was free :D ). Next up is Colin James in a 500-seat theatre, really looking forward to that one.

I did know that  - just minutes from where I live now (and where the show was last night).

Thanks SC :) - Ready for Love - probably my favorite BC song. Here's my lone video from the show - lousy picture but good sound. Floor seating sucks unless you're in the first few rows or tall - neither of which is the case with me

Paul has always found great muscicians to work with. Back in the 90s, I thought Paul Rogers and Company was going to become the new Bad Company only with Simon on drums.

Can't Get Enough from Montreux 1994. Check out this line-up - Bonaham on Drums, Luke and Schon on Guitars. Fun stuff here.

Just came across this one too: Stormy Monday- Paul with Luke, Joe Perry, Michael Anthony and Jason Bonaham

Well, how about that?! You're lone vid is also my favorite BadCo tune.

Thanks for filming and posting online. Great sound for a homemade vid. I'll have to rip that. I'll link it when I do.

Cheers!

Here's the link to an mp3 of TripleS's BadCo vid. Came out really good.

Not sure how many downloads it'll allow. Guess we'll find out.

Thanks SC :) . Yeah - that video was done with my phone - sound always comes out great but not the video because I can't zoom.

Nice review of the show here and some great photos (this article doesn't mention it but I read somewhere else that Paul drove his own car to the show - he does live just a few miles from here but I just thought that was pretty cool 8) )
