If it is REALLY going to be recorded and release, I'm sure it is gonna be something special, no doubts about it.

"Getting ready to start a new SURVIVOR cd"

I think that it will be good, and well worth having. But....I don't think that it will be as great as the albums from the Peterik years of the band.
Reach could have been so much better if Jamo was 100% into it
BARON BLOOD wrote:I gotta agree with Andrew !......Jamison did a great performance (as always) on REACH but some of the songs were not up to par with what we usually get from SURVIVOR......main reason being that PETERIK wasn't there and he is as important as SULLIVAN for the SURVIVOR sound so........

Guy, seriously who is putting out better music than they did in their prime? Tell me one person or group.
Losing Peterik is a drawback, but to be honest, there isn't that much that he has released since leaving Survivor that would actually fit in on a Survivor album. It sounds like Jim Peterik, but it doesn't really sound like Survivor---parts of the JJ/JP album being a notable exception to this, as long as you allow that the guitar parts would be different if you put Sullivan on there instead.

Return to Survivor / Jim Peterik / Toby Hitchcock / Pride Of Lions / Marc Scherer / Sir Jimi (RIP)
