Don't see how this applies to Journey at all.

Go to http://www.setlist.fm and browse though the past two years of Journey's set lists. As a much younger fan (early 20s) I literally "grew up" to Arrival, Generations, Revelation and Eclipse. The fact that those albums are mostly ignored by them is pretty irritating.

He's talking recorded music, not live. I think Journey have done well to keep putting out new and challenging music.
