What is your favorite band demo?

Postby G.I.Jim » Sat Jan 25, 2014 10:20 am

I was thinking about this the other day. I LOVE finding demos from my favorite bands, and there are a lot of great ones out there. Many of them finally get released in some form or other. What are your favorites? To me, mine has to be Steve Perry's "All In The Past". I had it for a couple of years before it leaked, but I was like a damn kid on Christmas the first time I heard that song!!! I thought it was a recent recording, but then found out it was from the 90's. I know he has recorded many other demos over the years. It would be awesome if we ever get to hear them...

So what are your favorite demos?

(all in the past)home at last, along with lost angels are probably two of my favorite top 5 Perry solo songs.
Throw those two on FTLSM and you have an album that rivals his first.

don't tell me why your leaving needed to be on his debut, the demo rocks.

Home at Last I know. Didn't know it was referred to as All in the Past.

My bad, it WAS called "Home At Last". Here it is if anyone hasn't heard it. And Ed, that Kiss demo was awesome! Thanks. :D
