Dennis DeYoung mentions DSB/Jonathan Cain

He's been on facebook a lot more

Hey everybody,

I have been sitting on some announcements for some months now not wanting to jinx them. So here we go...

Mr. Roboto will be performed on Glee March 11 which happens to be my son's birthday. This very good indeed. Poor Mr. Roboto he just won't go away. Matt says he's going to wear red shoes in honor of the occasion, why he did not say. If I could choose between all the son's in the whole wide world I would choose you, yes this includes Bill Gates. Happy 34th birthday Matthew.

I am about to sign the CD/DVD deal for the deluxe package of the live show at the El Rey in LA. This will be a worldwide release in HD and Blue Ray although the cd will be in monaural only. (Not really.) It will of course include as many Styx hits as possible including Don't Stop Believing. I found out quite by accident that it's now the law that the Journey song must be performed or played as often as humanly possible. Jonathan Cain you owe me.

As you can see this is getting pretty silly so I will just say, cheers ddy

The current Styx lineup is about as active as Flock of Seagulls or Right Said Fred. When was their last attempt at new music? That retread of "I am the Walrus"? Just give it up, guys.

Both of these guys being from Chicago, did their paths ever cross? I mean, why does DDY tell JC that he owes him? Is it simply because he put DSB on a record, or did he actually help him somehow way back in the day?

Surely so, and I'm sure Toph, you and I hate that little shit equally.
