Lady Refuses to Get a Job!

This lady drones on for 9 long minutes about all the reasons she refuses to work. Seriously, I should unfriend the person who put this on my FB page. I lost nine minutes of my life to a lazy troll! She's got to be! Either that or she is on serious drugs. I would say she is slow, but I don't wish to diss slow people!

If this lady is serious, why should I worry? I have been having major anxiety attacks over filing my taxes this year. Besides owing taxes, my income has fallen by over half due to be on and off unemployed. And half of that was unemployment. I worry about being audited due to my income falling so much. I am a chronic worrier by trade. In fact one could say that is perhaps my greatest skill! If I could bottle it I would make a fortune!

Isn't that the way some American's are now a days? It seems like a good portion of the population would rather sit on their asses watching Springer, Dr. Phil, and some shitty soap opera. They then proceed to pop out a new child every year or two and get paid to sit home and collect money off of the government.

It's amazing. This reminds me of people that my father knows. The came to the U.S. from another country through a sponsorship program. To this day they have never had a job. They have been on public assistance for years. There reasoning is that they have been unable to find a job "they want". So instead of finding something to earn a living, put a roof over their heads, put food on the table for themselves and three children they just collect public assistance. They both are able bodied and could get some type of work while still looking for something meets their ideal job. But no, they choose the easy way out. It really burns me how some of the people that feel our entitlement programs are just fine the way they are don't seem to be upset with this type of abuse. To me it takes assistance away from the people that actually do need it. Such as the people that do work but need income assistance as well as the truly disabled.

Exactly. And guess who pays for it? the super rich? the super poor? nope, the average guy or gal that gets up early
and goes to work everyday to support themselves and there families. There are to many people paying nothing
and collecting checks. As you said , there are those who need help, but to many are working the system.

Anyone who pays state and federal taxes is paying for it. The politicians who are so vocal about our entitlement programs rarely if ever talk about the abuse and fraud in the system. On the rare occasion when they do, the excuse is the government does not have the man power to weed this stuff out. Since there is such a lack of jobs in the U.S., why not hire and train people to do this. It will provide people with jobs they need and reduce the fraud and abuse and make the program(s) more effective. Also, create an easy way for citizens to report the abuse and fraud when they see it. I think it's our duty as tax paying citizens to do so. The solution may not be easy but that doesn't mean it's impossible. Although the politicians want you to think so. If our government was run more effectively it could be done instead of wasting money on things that never seem to benefit anyone.
