Winger album thread???

Am I going crazy, or didn't I see a thread here the other day about the new Winger album? I'd love to hear what people think before I plop down the dough! Anyone here get it yet?

Initially I thought the clips were weak, now that I have heard the full cd, I feel there are some growers and some pretty standard winger sounding songs on it, I don't know that this will be a favorite winger cd but there is plenty of good music on this one. Another beautiful day is the bonus track...its a grower but worth getting.

I STRONGLY disagree with you homie! I splurged on it today on Itunes. Freaking AMAZING album and it has so many twists and turns it's crazy. The musicianship is second to none. These guys are definitely the masters of their own domain. How in the hell they come up with the chord structures and pull it off... It blows my mind. Most bands, you can start a new song and KNOW where the next note is going to go. With Kip, it's always a guessing game and he always takes songs to cool ass places I could never imagine. Amazing!

And Andrew... I disagree with your review on this one. To me, this is their best release since Pull. There seems to be so much depth to this album on my second listen. I'm not a huge fan of Rat Race, but the rest of this freaking rocks! This is my favorite new album of the year to date.

Kp Winger hasn't lost a thing with his voice. I bought it off Itunes as well after I heard the clips. I wish there would have been more rockers on it but I'm satisfied. BTW, Rat Race is great.

Rockers? I thought it was kind of a heavier album than usual, i honestly was hoping for more of there in the face melodic rockers.
