Did anyone buy any Record store day reissues? I bought Aerosmith Rocks, Toys, NITR, Draw the line. Also I bought Kiss. Alive, Revenge, Destroyer, HTH, Unmasked and Dynasty. What an Improvement in all of these. For example, I have listened to Dynasty and Unmasked repeatedly over the last 2 days..things that really have jumped out me are the acoustic guitars on "Shandi"..best that song has ever sounded IMO..and when I listen to "Charisma" on Dynasty, I really notice how the drums trail off in the beginning...it sounds more present!! And, the beginning of "Talk To Me" is amazing!!! Everything about the RSD buys are awesome. ALIVE is the best version I've ever heard. Vinyl is flat as a board and not a peep of surface noise. The first bombs that go off at the beginning of Deuce is unlike anything I've heard before. The toms at the beginning of Strutter sound awesome and the depth of the low end of those toms kick ass. Ok, if the price concerns you and you only want to get one reissue....Alive! Is the one to nab. This is going out to you Ed.

At those prices? Hell, no.

Wish I still had a turntable. I'm even phasing out CD's. Play all 20,000+ songs through iTunes/Apple TV into my system.

A little pricey and if you don't have a turntable anymore I can see why. I still have a turntable though along with a 5 disc cd changer and a setup for my Iphone/Ipod. I'm hoping for a Pink Floyd, Van Halen reissue next RSD.
