I wish someone had a video of his entire performance last night. From the clips I heard, he's sounded fantastic!

Steve...

Please, please, please STOP singing "Open Arms"! I hate that AWFUL song! On another note, this guy sounds ridiculously good singing that Sam Cooke tune! I'm still blown away by how much he sounds like his old self on that song. I'm not sure what Steve's end game is here, or even if he has one, but you can tell that he's becoming more and more comfortable with this.

Thanks, John! Man he sounds awesome! Looks great too and seems confident again, so great to see/hear! I noticed one of the comments under the vid was from someone who was there and they mentioned that the video doesn't convey how powerful his voice was in person.

Wow, thank you so much for posting this. I had no idea he came back for a third time.

He sounds so good. To me, it's never been about the range...it was always about the tone, texture, feeling and soul he put in to every line he sang.

I'm a long time fan, and so enjoying watching him sing again!

This was solid and shows why there is alot more yet to come. It is going to be interesting to see what the future brings. It's like waiting for Christmas morning!

I had no idea he sang AGAIN! For a moment I thought it was a recording from the 80s.....

Open arms sounded much crisper too, hardly any rasp......

Lights!....
Wow.
Mr. Perry is back.
The more he sings the more rust comes off, the more relaxed he is and the easier he moves around the stage.

Thanks for posting. Very cool to watch Steve perform these songs in 2014 after such a long hiatus.

This video/audio of Lights is the best one captured and uploaded on YT, yet... clearer than another version I saw. Steve is on fire.
