Pics - Journey in Atlanta

Postby MartyMoffatt » Tue Jul 08, 2014 4:37 pm

I still lurk here occasionally, although I haven't posted for a while. However, I thought some of you might like to see some pics of Journey - these are from their show in Atlanta at the end of May...

Although I live in the UK I was in the States to attend a wedding in Atlanta, and it just so happened that this show (and the Raleigh show) were a few days later, so I couldn't pass up the opportunity. The Journey management were brilliant in giving me all the access I needed, to shoot both shows from the stage and out front, and the band treated me like a long lost friend. The shows themselves were very, very good (as expected) and it is obvious they are spending a lot more on the lighting and visuals nowadays.

As usual, your photos are sublime. Out of curiosity, Marty, are you ok with Facebook users posting the link to your website/photo galleries? I've got some Journey fans on my Facebook that would love to see some of these shots.

Hi Gideon, I don't have any problem with that. These are public galleries that will be on my website anyway. Private galleries (which I set up for bands and clients to use) are not available there.
