Would love to go see him if he did his Journey era stuff, Tall stories stuff and new solo stuff.

Completely not interested in him doing the dirty dozen.

At most solo shows, SA does do Arrival material and new material.

he tries to change it up like his acoustic intro into stone in love or his acoustic performance of open arms. and he always adds in some led zeppelin and the who at the end too. you have to remember that he is booked for shows due to his time as journey's main man so they expect to hear those songs. sometimes he can dictate the setlist like at firefest and melodicrock fest where he was able to do some tall stories and even tyketto.

I completely understand why he does it (as Journey does) its just barely interesting to hear Journey do them more once every two years...so listening to Augeri do them is just not on my radar.

I love Augeri, but man he sounds horrible. He needs to stop playing so many Journey songs and play more of his own material.

Me too. I think he has his groove back.

I was surprised to see him go for some tough notes and actually pull them off. We've seen Steve A at his worst. The clip above is the best he's sounded since he's come back IMO, which is awesome since I'm always rooting for SA. It's nice to see him become more and more comfortable on stage after such a traumatic event.

I thought he sounded very good on this clip.

Agree with YoungJRNYFan. SA was going for some notes I was surprised to hear him reach for and he got a lot of them. Good stuff.
