Loved it then. Sounds very dated now. Still good though.

"I Wouldn't Lie To You" is even better. I've had this one on tape since '85. It's warped.

LOVE "Only make-believe" and "young love", and I can not STAND Eddie Money's remake of "Wanna Go Back"!

I've listened to most of the album on You Tube. And it sounds old as heck. "Marianne"'s pretty good. My favorite is "Deep Blue Sea"- I wish Gregg would release it online so I could legit buy it instead of ripping it off You Tube. It sounds like something that should be playing on the radio as Crockett and Tubs drive down the crime infested streets of South Beach on Miami Vice.

I saw on one of the Journey fan sites that Lori Rolie co-wrote a few songs on this album. Good to know that Diane Valory's not the only one with Journey writing credits :D . According to Linked In, Lori also writes children's books- but she's no J.K. Rowling. And aside from Neal and Carlos guesting on the album, Stan "The Touch" Bush sang back up :D .

I bought the re-release CD a couple years ago.

There's a single used CD store the next county over that always has people browsing through it. One time I was there I saw Gregg Rolie's "Gringo". The next time I came back (weeks later) it was gone. I haven't seen any of his other music since. I haven't listened to "Gringo" as much.

I was hoping that if I programmed Journey Radio on Pandora I'd hear stuff like Journey, Santana, The Storm, Gregg Rolie, Bad English, etc on it. In actuality, I mostly get Survivor and Stan Bush (which is now actually relevant). Has anyone ever programmed Gregg Rolie into Pandora, Spotify, Beats, Itunes Radio, etc? And what have you gotten?

I've got the album on vinyl. I wish that I could get it on CD, but last time I checked it wasn't available on CD. I have "Gringo," later renamed "Hands Of Time" on both vinyl and CD.

They're both great albums, and it's great that Neal and Carlos are guests on them. Too bad that he never got Steve Smith to guest on a song or two.

Sounds like a bad cross between Chicago's "Saturday in the Park" and "Suzanne."
