Good GOD Tater!! How many damn threads do we need about baseball in here??? Steve is done. I doubt he will surface again after his latest stint. Get over it already!! He's toast. He gave us many good years of songs, but that era is over.

Do we really need to turn this into a baseball forum now that he "sings" at the games? Come on!! I appreciate his contributions to the genre and he's always been one of my top 2 singers on the planet. It's always been a toss up between him and Lou G. Jamison has always been my 3rd favorite, but after the other 2 lost their voices, Jamison jumped to number 1 for me over the past decade.

I'll remember him for the songs he gave us. Just my $.02 but coming on here and seeing 15 different damn threads just about baseball is crazier than Andrew winning a body building contest! PLAY BALL!!!!

I have to laugh every time I read this from one of you, that Steve is done or toast, etc. because he doesn't have quite the range he had in the 70/80s. I thought he sounded pretty damn good in the shows he joined this summer for a few songs. And it's pretty cool that you get his itinerary emailed to you everyday to say that he isn't going to surface again? As far as I can tell there is nothing to get over? If peeps want to enjoy any singing he does now, who the f*ck are you to tell them to get over it? And why do you care so much about how many baseball threads there are? All kinds of topics on this forum........you don't see me whining about the 401 political type threads.

Tator is teflon! And, he knows when he's being goaded! We all know when we're being goaded. That's alright. Tator news is good news and if it wasn't for him I know that I would have no idea what is going on with Mr Perry and his love of baseball more specifically his love of the Giants team! Tator keeps us in the loop. I read your post and I thought there was a little jabbing at Tator but it's all good because it keeps the conversation going. You give us a ribbing and we keep on ticking. Tator is almost mystical! He puts the time and energy in finding out what's going on with Mr Perry and then passes it on to the Perry fans. It's just clean fun. No harm no foul! Tator is the unknown. He's almost like Superman; no one (well at least I have no idea who he is) but a few of us know who the Tator really is...he's mystical, he's magic, he's clairvoyant, he's got his finger on the Perry pulse and he's sharing it with the fans! Go Tator! Nothing and no one can bring the Tator down. Long live the Tator!

Haven't drank in over 6 months, and thanks for asking! and no, I wasn't talking "tongue in cheek". A year ago Andrew himself would have seen these 20 something posts on the SAME topic and deleted all but one of them. He's been absent from here so I'm trying to be the voice of reason here. They're all talking about the same damn thing! But hey... Post 80 threads like that. Maybe it'll get him to come out of retirement!
