MOMOA ANNOUNCES FOUR-FILM CONTRACT AS AQUAMAN

http://www.comicbookresources.com/?page ... e&id=57613

Momoa is going to turn Aquaman into an absolute beast of epic proportion in this universe! He may be the biggest badass in the Leauge BY FAR. 4 film contract. His appearances looks to be a cameo in BvS; solo Aquaman film and Justice League Part 1 and 2.

Cool to also see that he wanted to play Lobo as well. Makes you think if WB will eventually turn to the MAIN MAN as a new franchise as well!

You probably won't find a more attractive, talented and down to Earth actress going today than Amy Adams. She is super-sexy with a girl next door look to her. If you can pull off a girl next door look and still be mouth watering then more power to you. Amy got all the goods. Those eyes kill me. KILL me and I'm a SUCKER for redheads.

Amy is a fangirl as well. She loved Superman when she was little and had a crush on Reeve. Her interviews with Henry are hilarious. She can't stop blushing around him. Henry's reactions to her are priceless. Amy said on set, she gets nervous around Cavill because she's a Supes fangirl and giggles around him a lot. Couldn't land a better Lois Lane.

I hate this ****. She was the party killer in this film. And yes, they could have found a much better Lois Lane IMO.
On another note, just watched "Guardian's Of The Galaxy" last night. Best Marvel Movie Yet. They got this one right.

v. Picture going around that claims it's the full color version of the Bat-suit. Not posting it though. I think it's a manip but it's the grey and black HUSH suit with a tint of navy. Would be badass.

Guardian of the Galaxy was a great film. Solid and very well put together. Some lighthearted moments, too and in the winning formula of what Marvel brings to the feel of their movies. Not sure why people were falling and rolling on the ground with the movie, though as if it was groundbreaking. I left the theater, glad I saw it, but it fell short of what I heard from other people's reactions. It was pretty much what I expected. It was no letdown but it didn't soar past my expectations. Just right.

Yeah, it's a manip. Same image, not the same clarity. When they're ready to show us some real stuff, they will.

Btw, watched Fast Five last night. Gal does have a recognizably exotic quality even if she's on the slender side. I think what sold Zack on her is her height. She towered over Jordana Brewster in the movie.

My personal one-line assessment: GotG succeeded because it's a solid entertainer with modern FX and the newer versions of the characters (Star-Lord is far less serious) that resonate with people wanting more Star Wars '77-'83 fare.

I still think Captain America: The Winter Soldier is the overall best Marvel Studios film to date.

Guardians is NOT like Star Wars. Star Wars takes itself WAY more serious. The only not-serious bit is the droids...and Guardians has no droids.

Guardians succeeded for one reason. It stole Farscape's formulae:

1. We're not Star Trek. If Star Trek did it, we're not.
2. Don't take yourself too serious. If you can laugh at yourself, do it...it's the best humor.
3. Nostalgia rocks. If you can pick up a piece of nostalgia and use it in a creative way - do it. Everybody can relate to it, and it draws more people into the story.
4. Character dynamics, how characters relate and contrast with each other, is incredibly important.
5. Anything goes. Don't know about Guardians, but if anybody (cast, crew, etc) has a useful creative idea, speak up...it will be listened to and taken seriously.

Funny thing is, I think Farscape stole a lot from Guardians...and then Guardians stole it back...even just the characters:
A guy from Earth becomes the hero and falls in love with an alien. Is that John Crichton or Star-lord?

An alien girl is a tough warrior type who is a bit reluctant about romance and is chased by the hero, rather than the one doing the chasing. Is that Aeryn Sun or Gamora?

Overly tough warrior dude who has family issues. Is that D'argo or Drax?

Plant person who is a protector type and "dies" to save the rest of the gang. Is that Zhaan or Groot?

Little annoying guy who everybody loves to hate? Rygel or Rocket?

Even the entire premise...a bunch of alien criminals led by a human who repeatedly save the galaxy? The crew of Moya or the Guardians?

Monk, I agree with this. I usually like writer/director James Gunn (Slither, Dawn of the Dead remake), but I feel he totally ripped off Farscape with Guardians. The non-stop pop cultural references from Starlord were EXACTLY like Crichton's character. And it didn't even make sense. Starlord was abducted as a very young child from earth, so why would he have this never-ending supply of current and relevant American witticisms? Overall, I thought Guardians was smug and too clever by half. Didn't get the big deal. Reminded me of The Lego movie.

On another note...saw Exodus last night. Nothing groundbreaking, but a typically solid Ridley Scott movie. I enjoyed it. And hey, at least it wasn't 4 hours long like the Charlton Heston version!

Because James Gunn was involved, that's why. I knew from the trailer it was going to be an eye candy, face value kind of movie. Come on, even Nacho Libre had used the WHO??!! joke. I couldn't believe Gunn used that again. At least he didn't create a pile of manure like Shane Black. Gunn's a B-level director who was given an opportunity. More power to him...

I'm not posting the artile because it reveals spoilers. So I'm staying away:

Report: Superman To Be More Heroic In Batman V. Superman: Dawn Of Justice; sequel to Man of Steel
While much of the attention, focus, and scrutiny has been on Ben Affleck’s Caped Crusader in the highly anticipated Batman vs. Superman: Dawn of Justice, Badass Digest explains that Batman vs. Superman is in fact a sequel to Man of Steel and this movie will focus on Clark's journey and and his growth since the events from the first film. An earlier draft of screenwriter Chris Terrio’s script will address some of the main issues many fans had with Man of Steel.

The shift in movement is going back to this being a sequel to Man of Steel and Superman and Lois still being the primary focus. This popped up again as Jeremy Irons (Alfred) said he has a VERY small role and that this will focus on others characters. Recent interview with Amy Adams reveals that Lois Lane is VERY much involved in BvS and her role is big. With most of the MoS cast returning, the glue that holds everything together would be Superman and his "family" of characters.

Sounds to me like somebody is extra desperate this year after wasting all of their Christmas gift money on having their basement renovated to the blueprint specifications of the Adam West bat cave. If money is an issue, why don't you go to tell the neighborhood Salvation Army guy to fuck off and reclaim your old street corner? And before you go, let me refresh your memory of the actual terms of our agreement...

Lol, I totally forgot about that.

I didn't read the spoilers. However, I'm my own worst enemy. I will AVOID all of the spoilers once this thing heats up. We may be getting a teaser very soon and I will DEVOUR the trailer like everybody else once it hits but as far as forum spoilers and the inevitbale article spoiler, I'll avoid. Now, depending on my inevitable weakened state when we actually get more stuff with marketing, that could change

I think TNC is saying that the bet relies on a Super-solo without any other hero's or Batman I guess. Superman and Batman solo's are being worked on and in WB's plans. We'll probably know more on Supes and Bats with next years SDCC.

There's only one "not really a spoiler" I'm aware of, which is pretty much a known thing, that concerns a roof "literally" getting blown off a building. That's about it. And the pix you've posted, which are pre-CG enhanced locations. I'm not reading any articles. I want to see a trinity pic and I'll check out Aquaman and Cyborg if they show up in the trailer. I won't go past the first trailer, though. Okay, maybe the second.

Btw, this dude on Comic Book Men did have a sweet Bat-themed basement man cave with state of the art audio, ginormous flat screen, reclining theater seats, Batman props and memorabilia, etc. It even had a secret entrance. If you were a clueless visitor walking down the hallway, you'd wouldn't be able to tell where the entrance was.

I hear yah! I did so mother-fucking well with Man of Steel that I made myself sick...only to break down within' the last 2 minutes of the 4th quarter! I mean, I watched trailer #3 and felt I was in pretty good shape, even with the T.V spots popping up every day, vivaciously haunting me. I was literally days away from the premier and I broke down and did the "Nah, it'll be safe to look here. Just one peak!" That's where I found the Supes breaks Zod's neck scene and the huge debate going on within' itself. I fucked my own A on that one!

Yes, that's correct, I was just making a funny earlier.

True...I know this BUT I'm not going to lie. I kinda wish it was true you had an Adam West; Batcave in your basement. That would totally be awesome

I remember seeing that episode. The dude fucking had everything. They walked into what appeared to be a normal basement and then this voice came over the loadspeaker. Here, this dude was watching them from surveillance in his Batcave and even had The Dark Knight replica suit on display. Crazy.
