Journey's Real Greatest Hits

Postby JourneyHard » Sun Apr 19, 2015 10:45 am

In my humble opinion, Journey's Greatest Hits omitted many of their best Perry era songs. This is what it should have been.

1. Separate Ways
2. Don't Stop Believin'
3. Lights
4. Open Arms
5. Be Good To Yourself
6. Faithfully
7. Feeling That Way
8. Anytime
9. Escape
10. Any Way You Want It
11. Wheel In The Sky
12. Send Her My Love
13. Lovin', Touchin', Squeezin'
14. Who's Cryin' Now
15. Chain Reaction
16. Stone In Love

I agree. That's why we have Greatest Hits 2.

Chain Reaction is hardly a hit. Escape is more of a concert staple vs a hit single. Only 1 song of ROR? No Only the Young? Stone in Love was technically never a single.

If we're talking about chart position, then no, Chain Reaction was not a hit. However, I do think of it as having been a minor hit. They filmed a video for it that got decent air time on MTV at that time, and it did get some radio air play. They also used to play it live in concert a lot.

Stone in love wasn't a hit on the charts either, but it got decent air play on certain radio stations, and again, it was a popular song live in concert.
