I find this totally amazing, that this 40 year old band is outselling so many other great musical acts!!

And people wonder why Steve Perry has no interest in returning. He could live extremely comfortably on just the Greatest Hits sales alone. Not to mention everything else he gets royalties for. This also makes me think that while he might look bored, Jonathan Cain must in some way still enjoy performing with Journey, because it's not like he needs the income.

Journey is playing the Greatest Hits on their tour, and selling a lot more Greatest Hits albums. Just imagine if they played more of Eclipse on the tour, how the sales of Eclipse would do. :D

Probably another reason why management insists on a set list comprised of Greatest Hits. Keep the golden oldie geese laying those golden eggs.
