Alek was one of the US soldiers that stopped the gunman on that French train.

Oh, I didn't make the connection... well, he did become a celebrity overnight, didn't he?
I don't watch this show ... or any other reality-type, contrived TV programming. I wasn't always this way, but in my old age, I just don't have any interest in watching these kind of shows, anymore. Award shows, I used to watch religiously. But, last 5-10 years, I couldn't care less who wins what. All a popularity contest, anyway. Doesn't mean the winner is the best...just the most popular in a given year.

I'm a channel flipper
Commercials are boring during the football game.
Don't know the 'pros' but recognized Alek from all the news clips.
And the DSB music in the background.

I wondered if anyone saw that last night on DWTS. I didn't have any idea who was who either (professional or amateur); but I had kind of a shocked reaction realizing that DSB was on the show and someone was dancing to it! I guess that says to me although this site is quiet and close to falling asleep there are lots and lots of people out there still enjoying Journey music. And it is always Mr Perry singing the lead when those snippets of music are playing on television!

Good point, Marabelle! I always notice that, too! Like the many times I'm in a store shopping, and a Journey song comes over the intercom, it's always SP's vocals. So glad they don't use the "re-records."
