Earlier tonight at the Radio City Music Hall in New York, DC and Warner Brothers premiered Batman V Superman: Dawn Of Justice in the US. Immediately following its showing, fans in the audience took to twitter to convey their thoughts and by the looks of it, nobody was disappointed. In what seemed like an eternity, the moment was finally here, and apparently the film lived up to the hype.

The iMAX screening was last night. El Maybe liked it. Grace liked it. Campea liked it. Superheronews liked it and some hardcore YT channels liked it. All great news. Lets see how those pesky critics scored it. Embargo is lifted tomorrow, but the fans is lifted. Over 90% positive. Looks like a hit man. There's a TON that goes on and people are saying they NEED to see it again, which is great. The 2-3 viewings are there and people want to go back (Man of Steel didn't have great legs.) BvS will.

Also, a lot of people who HATED Man of Steel are giving high praise to BvS, so that's a biggie.

As a film, they're nothing alike. In terms of ambition though, I haven't quite seen a jump like this since then. Batman V Superman is a ballsy movie.

With big franchise's playing it safe nowadays, from straight remakes trying to pass off as something new, to keeping more or less the same formula for a majority of the movies across a franchise, I like the fact that DC is taking more risks and making ballsy moves to be different.
