When the music finally starts

I've been patiently waiting for the release of the new music. I've been saving my voice because I know when the time comes I will be unabashed and unfettered and unashamed and will be screaming as loud as the law allows. As I said to Fezzy, like the woman in the audience when he walked onstage from behind the curtain after intros by the Eels. I will not faint; nor loose consciousness for lack of oxygen when the lights go down and he appears from behind the curtain and takes center stage and picks up the mic and the voice and the music greets the audience. I just hope that when he takes center stage that I will be in the country and not somewhere in the Caribbean thousands of miles away for my sake...him, he won't care; but for me I hope that the stars and the moon will align and I will be there front and center standing up the entire time he's onstage with Fezzy pulling on my coattails trying to get me back into my seat and wanting me to be quiet so she can hear.

Oh yes! Dearest Marabelle, we will and must hear that man's beautiful voice that makes the women cry, the men edgy and the multitudes ache! Oh for Christ's sake I wish he would hurry ..lol But Marabelle, you will not be unlawful in your unabashed, unfettered, unashamed screaming because it is allowed when listening to the Voice align all the universe in it's perfect harmony with her and lets hope that Stephen will be that man he always has and gives us something we can believe and listen to with our hearts of hearts. From what I gather, Steve intends to release his masterpiece in May. So if you go to the Caribbean then, you may miss him center stage! Never worry, I'm always by your side when it comes to the music man we have loved as long as we can remember, for me that's just about a lifetime since I was a hair brained kid when I first heard that voice, I could not believe what I was hearing didn't even know the mans name but it was like the Lord came down and I flopped down on my knees and my mind went 'huh' and I was left there ever since! There is more to the story about the Voice but it's boring only to me....lol!! I will still love ya to pieces even if you scream but could you just let me listen to those drippy love songs and let me gently duct tape your face, if I promise to remove it shortly

LOL,oh well, have mercy, I know how to wait and be patient, not scream and not suffer any indignities of having a taped mouth!!! LOL! He might not even tour! Although I'm sure I would be stunning even with a 1 inch wide white duct tape strip placed gently across my mouth. But if he does tour, expect me sitting (or standing) beside you having the time of my life! Oh we're going to have so much fun!

My Sweet Marabelle, When the music finally starts.... your beautiful face and lovely smile will capture the 'Voice', although you may have a bit of tape glue still around the edges of your mouth, it will hardly be notable at all And it will be a wonderful time for us to share some drinks and BLT's (Ha Ha) and we best enjoy them immensely because we can't have much alcohol and bacon grease at our age Dear!! Lol!
All I can truly say is that I love, respect and appreciate all the Steve does for the spirit of music and whatever he has in store to share will be beautiful and yes, we will have a time to remember...

Good afternoon, sweet Fezzy, another week has gone by and everyone is still waiting. It's like the lull between taking your chair before a performance and waiting for the music to begin or waiting for the curtain to rise and the previews to flash across the screen. There is a lot of sitting and waiting. But he did say or at least I think he said or maybe someone long ago suggested that he did and we took it as the gospel that he was and will be releasing music but with him it could be any time in the next 2 years or 3. I think it's the echo of a promise; the hope that what we've looked forward to will come true. Fezzy, tell me if I'm wrong but I'm thinking it's probably as hard for him to get things done as he'd like them as it is for us to sit here and moan and groan about it not being released. I've still got my fingers crossed and a smile on my face hoping it won't be too much longer. In fact, my feet are already dancing....and what did it say on the gift you sent...dance like there is no one watching. Still do.

Listen, this isn't easy work he is doing! He isn't 25 anymore and this might be his last and most important ever piece of work that he imparts to his fans and family! He has grandbaby's and a daughter and all that he wants to leave them now must stand the test of time and posterity. What they may not understand now in the seeds he may try to plant in his masterpiece will none the less become the legacy which will later be the power in planting the seeds he is nesting over! Every minute, second of it and every nuance and note will resonate and mean all of the man and his entire being up till now, a memory full of many, many memories, hopes, dreams and meaning! It is a lot of responsibility, and deep thought and immense love he is working on and I just kind of think he is aiming for Mother's Day round about for his sweet daughter and grandchildren whom I believe he has learned more from than all the performing and adulation. He has a great amount of respect and tenderness for mother's and children, especially his own. I just think he is trying to get it right and perfect for the love And also for Kellie, the love of his life! And then you throw in there the music industry, business and everything else but the kitchen sink and it's a major damn undertaking. And Bella, don't forget he is nearing 70, he has to baby his voice and take it slow and work on it harder. I think we should just be so patient and grateful that he will do this now and especially when he has no other need to but for love
But, one thing I believe is that he gave his word that he is releasing his music even though he did sound hesitant, he is still doing this thing one more time and it must satisfy him deeply before he can give it away... It is an agonizing anticipation while we wait for him...but we will wait because we know it will be beautiful and he won't let anyone down.. And he will especially be feeling the love for you out there all tied up and taped up trying to clap and scream like the lady in the audience with the Eels. He may come down there and get in my shit for putting you in such misery like that!! Yikes, I think it's better if I leave my tape and muzzle at home!

Did you see that handsome picture of the Voice, he was daydreaming about being down by the dusty roads that lead to the river . . . And wow, he is looking very nice Oh My Goodness!! The girls are gushing and the anticipation is rising! I'm over here on the west coast getting my grandson all lined out to go to the Prom with his girlfriend, her dress is blue and we don't know what is the best color for his Tux...black, blue or grey? Hmmm, we are deciding today! What a wonderful picture of Steve, maybe he's working at the studios in Burbank. We can only hope and wait Well Ms. Marabelle there ya go, we are a couple of older gals with some crazy ramblings!!

Good day Fezzy, yes the girls still gush over this very handsome man with the beautiful voice and soulful spirit. Sounds as if he is in a thoughtful creative place where the magic lives. I didn't realize it is that time of the year of the formal suits and dresses, I am sure the couple will be gorgeous. Mr Perry will fill our hearts with song soon I hope and we can all dance the night away while that music fills our heads with seductive memories and simmering thoughts of romance.

There will be unbelievable gushing in that auditorium and I have thought about it and
it will be necessary for me to bring provisions in there, I know it will be very moist
and wet, when Steve starts up with the blue jean girl and the dusty roads down by
the river, I think the levee is gonna break! I'm bringing a small life raft and paddle,
a couple flashlight, few snacks so we can make it out of there alive!
And as for me when that music starts, I'm going to contain myself but I think I will
float up in the air quiet as a mouse and just listen to every word and note from
his beautiful heart! I will just be floating around believing with all my heart

thank you and we picked the grey tux. My daughter took him to be fitted, as
I had to drive over to the coast, and she said he was just gorgeous in his tux

Hey hey hey Ms Fezz, dahlin friend of mine, yes, the post was funny I thought so too but then I thought perhaps Mr Perry and Associates would form a formation and roast me for what I wrote. But images did dance in my head of women sitting In row after row after row with images swirling above their heads of him and his blue jean girl tumbling along the river bank wishing it could have been them. First of all I couldn't believe he actually said what I read and then I thought heck, I wanted to have fun with what he said because it sure was funny. You know like with the Christmas poem...images of sugarplums dancing in their heads. HA!

It would pretty strange for Mr. Perry and Associates to roast you for nothing It would be silly for anyone to take this seriously
But in all seriousness, it is absolutely the bomb that Steve is doing an album again and who wouldn't be excited to hear it
I thought about Steve yesterday in the light of the pressure of health, life and work and I had a very great heartfelt observation of how much love and hard work he puts into everything he experiences

Oh yea, Marabelle, bring some goulashes too when the music starts! And handkerchiefs . . . mascara for a touch ups after the tears fall and its probably best to sit in back so we don't get trampled before security can get crowd control! The fans who have been missing him may be hysterical or will cry tears of many emotions now in the light of his best work of his career which was inspired by a true warrior woman who fought cancer side by side with the most beautiful balladeer man in the world And he may have some new wonderful heartfelt meaning for his lovely current love of his life that keeps him breathing and happy

Steve is the all in one, wet, hot mess on fire that we just can't get enough of....ever, no matter how long it takes till we drop, forever and ever till the end of time, ever, did I say always and forever

How was your cruise? Hope you feel rejuvenated and refreshed No music yet, but we are going to keep on believing! I had a strange dream last night . . . it was a mixture of feelings ranging from the childhood of a character from "The Secrets of the Ya Ya Sisters", and then being chased by aliens who wanted to rip out my ovaries from the "The Astronauts Wife, yikes, moving into a woman who could be a female Marilyn Monroe type but could sing like the sexual undertones of Bette Midler from the "The Rose", being dealt death from some "Deliverance" type monsters after right before being hijacked by her own naïve visions of the song "Grandpa's hands: into the marvelous lap of abandonment Daddy issues! Yikes! And then to keep moving along being belted loudly with the Steve Perry song, "Lovin' Touchin' Squeezin' while moving right along into being Morris Day in the "Purple Rain" dreams!! And all that was after I watched a scary movie!! No More Cabernet and scary movies for me
So instead of discussing the Mr. Steve hottie music issues, lets just talk about dreams Wtf, now I'm dreaming about Steve Perry songs. . Lol!! But no more wine, I think it was the ripping out of the ovaries from "The Astronauts Wife, that did it after that movie last night, whoa, that was bizarre!

Hot dang! Goodness gracious! You might win the prize for the most outrageous personal drama in a dream! I've had dreams but none ever so magical, weird and farfetched! Anyways, while out on the smooth blue seas I happen to hear 2 if not 3 songs sung by those who honestly could not sing at all, and I'm being polite and charitable! It's hard to imagine Journey songs sung in such a way that I was clapping and waving my lit phone and moving my body from side to side all done with tongue firmly in cheek; because baby, they were just plain not giving the songs there just due! There was eeeeching and screeching and gasping and hard to say what else they were trying to do but once you put back 1 if not 2 or 3 drinks; who cares! They had there moment in the lights in front of an audience of a few and felt they were living the dream. I might have even stood up and gave them 2 claps and a snap! Yes, it was that kind of vacation!

Lol! It was karaoke madness!! Well, if I had been with you I believe you would have peed your pants because I might have had to get up there after a bottle of wine and did some karaoke on their heads! It would have broke your mind I am sure of it . . . There would have been a breathalyzer put on me by the ships caption and all the cases of wine put under lock and key!! You may have found me in International waters with my make up all a mess, singing "Stone in Love," atop the galley tables!! Ms. Marabelle, think about taking a cruise next time with one of the entertainers who do those cruises so you can enjoy some good entertainment

I don't believe I have seen it all but I got it! I got you! Haven't slept for days, cried uncontrollably into a puddle of tears on the floor unable to move. Frozen weak. Prince's death has brought so much pain. Where do the fans go from here?

Ohhh Fezzy, I'm thinking I'm hearing a bit of rumblings from the "manwhowillnotbenamedorbothered" side of the world! Not really of course but quite possibly; I'm intuitive that way! HaHa! Sometimes I laugh at myself; but now to serious business; I just feel that the"manwhowillnotbenamedorbothered" just wants to get things done on his schedule and all this clamor quite possibly from "fanswholoveandadorehim" just have to be patient, quiet and go about living our own personal lives while the masterpiece is being completed. Heck, it could be another 3 or 4 years for all we know. So, I will gather up my thermos of warm tea which does help for keeping my voice moist and perfect for screaming, my binoculars in case I am barred to the furthest corner of the arena. blanket in case I had to do some camping out to buy any tickets for the show, hot towel for soothing and wrapping that darn throat where the howling will come forth er, screaming if you're a faithful fan and ole faithful duct tape either to keep me quiet or to keep me in the chair so I don't tumble out of the seat so all bodyguards won't rush me if I make any sudden movements!

I missed your last post, yes it was a bad year for musicians! We've lost quite a few! Did you read the news posting about the astronauts who state while they were coming back to earth they passed a planet where they swore they heard a jam session with music exploding into space...it gives me hope that somewhere out there all these people are having the time of their life. It's not over unless you believe it's over! Chin up!

I hope "manwhowillnotbenamedorbothered", does not start the music in 3 to 4 years! However . . I would have to miss the show with you if he starts it this week. That darn flu that my grandson had and stayed home from school with for a week has reached me Poor little guy got behind on his homework so I was up at midnight working on his "The Minister's Black Veil" homework because he go so behind. Right now I'm not concerned with snacks at all, no food! Just leave all the food away from me, don't even say the word to me. I was so worried when "manwhowillnotbenamedorbothered", had the surgery on his face for the removal of the melanoma. Perhaps that is the reason he has had a change of heart regarding his new music or maybe was a detour! I am so glad that he had that removed so early on. I also had a mole removal on my arm which looked questionable but came back benign. What are you thoughts on this because I think I am going to have nervous breakdown if something is wrong! I am such a big worry wart and you can't be sure of that!!!

What a long day, I will make this short! I know it will take at least till next year for Mr. "themanwhowillnotbenamedorbothered" to make any new music so I decided instead to become an honest women and tell my husband over dinner that I am actually a very, very serious SP fan who maybe in need of a shrink He completely understood and offered any help to me on my faithful personal journey. There are logistics in my mind regarding how he will do this project and all the grueling work that will accompany that amount of energy and planning? However, I am just so full of questions and wondering if he is just so full of shit? Well, its another month gone by! Nothing yet, it's nail biting to wait and wonder! We are having the warm weather coming in fast, you can feel it at about noon when the whole atmospheric pressure is not thawing anymore. We are entering the dog days of summer for sure!! I am in tomorrow for my annual pap and mammo appointment! Always makes one sit and shake in their boots until you get the final results I'm getting signals and visions that take a while to decipher but from the news releases, I think Steve is not ready but in the final stages of giving us that masterpiece I really need to catch this show in the real time, firsthand so that I have a leg to stand on when I decide to do my thang, like dance in the aisles and throw it in the air, like I just don't care
