Petition To Remove Air Conditioning From State Department Has Over 1,800 Signatures


An online petition to remove all air conditioning from Department of State property has gotten more than 1,800 signatures since it was posted online Sunday.

A Change.org user named Hopalong Ginsberg created the petition in response to remarks made by Secretary of State John Kerry claiming air conditioning and refrigerants are as much of a threat to the world as the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS). The petition garnered 1,869 signatures by Monday afternoon.

If he was stupid enough to leave them vulnerable, it would be fine with me. He didn't ask them to hack into anyone's account. He made a joke referencing the fact that they probably have already done so to Hilary and the DNC because they recklessly handled information. He totally took over the news cycle for the day with this and the only people upset are those who support Hilary. Trumps crap has only barely been used by the Democrats...because it has been so early. It seems to me they have been testing to see what works best and with who. There is little sense in going all out against him six months before the election. Next week when the conventions are over I suspect you will start hearing and seeing the full weight of Trump's negatives used against him.

On the other hand, Trump has already used his big cards, Emails, Benghazi and the 90's "scandals" - and they have also had little effect. Bringing this stuff up now is being repetitive and redundant. In addition, Trump keeps adding more crap. Encouraging Putin to spiy on the US? That is almost treasonous and nobody wanting to be President should be saying such things.

Also, Clinton has the full support of her party...all of the big names will back her during the campaign. Trump doesn't have that advantage.

What's funny is how people such as yourself do the typical "selective editing" to perpetuate a lie. Trump said that the people flowing over the border are rapists, drug dealers, murders and some are good people. The truth is he's right. There are Mexican drug trafficking issues on our southern border. There are rapists among those entering from our southern border, it's confirmed by the huge numbers of women that are raped along the way. There are murders among them, based on those that have been caught committing murders in the U.S.. Some are good people just looking for a better life but are committing an illegal act in their effort to achieve a better life. Bottom line, the people illegally entering our southern border are not Mexico's or South Americas best. They are not the people that are going to grow our economy. They are not highly skilled people that are going to create businesses that are going to move the country forward. In our current political climate neither party cares to do anything about the problem because they both benefit from the situation. Mexico is not going to do anything about it either. It gives them the opportunity to export their problems to the U.S. and gain boosts to their economy by the money that is sent back to Mexican families from those that have crossed over the border.

If or until said laws are changed, our elected officials took an oath to enforce said laws. They are in breach of their oath and should be held accountable. The community is 56% Hispanic, largely due to a heavy agriculture business. There are gang bangers galore and constant drive by shootings. Yeah, those are the kind that we need to have crossing, willy nilly, with no vetting. It's not racist to be against that. Trump wants to deport over 10 million illegals. How many people total are YOU talking about here? A few hundred. Let's just say you are talking about 1,000 people to include those who are not 'caught'. Then let's multiply it by 50 to include all 50 states. That is 50,000 "possible" (since I am padding your number - by a LOT, and applying it to states that would not have such an immigrant problem).

That equates to .5 % of illegal immigrants being possible criminals.
