People would want Neal back more than you know.

And this list is based on what? Perry never opened with Separate Ways, and never performed 8, 9 or 12 live.

Yeah, but you have to think that he'd have done at least 9 and 12 had he stayed on in 1998-ish and Neal had left. He never did them live because he's never toured after the record was made.

I have a hard time thinking that this setlist would bring people back after a nostalgic "Steve Perry Returns" first tour. Way too many ballads, though I think that is what Perry would do best these days.

If he can re-release Vortex, why not release a live version of Eclipse? Then live in concert, Neal can tinker with his songs and add new stuff.

Costs for high quality video probably aren't cheap, but if they could find a sponsor to bear some of the costs, a video of deep cuts, or unplugged versions might sell well with the die hards. I would buy it. I loved Night Ranger's 24 Strings and a Drummer.

Journey should do a cover of Last Chance by Shooting Star in concert. If you look at their lyrics, it sounds like something that could have been on Eclipse and it sounds like where Jonathan Cain is right now in his life.

love the first few shooting star albums, especially the single Hollywood.
But no, Journey has a tremendous backlog, with only one cover, the beatles its all too much.

If you brought somebody down from another country and played them "Escape," "Open Arms," and "Frontiers," they would think they were three different bands. In my opinion, Journey has a wide range of music.
