Thank goodness for Mr Augeri, he has weathered many a storm in life through being in the band and taking Mr Perry's rightful place in the band (most people felt that way) through his voice problems and he is still standing. I don't know where he got his strength to overcome all of this but he did! The mean awful things people said about him from his days working in the Gap store to his wanting to take Mr Perry's place..he held on and he's still singing! Gracious, there are so many miracles that happen each and every day and I must say he truly is a force of nature! I admit I didn't like him either and he's still not my favorite person in the world but he has shown such class and dignity and unrelenting fortitude that I have to give him his props! Even if he did mess with the vocals...

I was at that show. It was one of the funnest concerts I have been to in recent years. The Rock Pack format is refreshing and enjoyable. Steve came out afterward and was so gracious to fans that stayed after. He even went up to a fan in a wheelchair who couldn't make it down to the stage. It was a touching moment.

I'm curious why SA would choose to perform WYLAW over say, "All The Way." They're basically the same songs melodically. Why not do more songs off Arrival which were his own? Maybe he did?

When the dreadfully awful and what ruined any chance Arrival had charting a single, All the Way, I see why he wants no part in playing this song.

Saw the latest Rock Pack show on Long Island on Saturday night. It was SA, Lou Gramm, John Payne, and Fee Waybill (The Tubes). Bobby Kimball was supposed to be there, but he was sick and not able to make it. Steve sounded really good. No doubt he still has some "off" nights, but he was on Saturday... at least from where I was sitting. I hadn't seen him live for a while, so I just enjoyed the show and didn't take any videos with the phone. The Journey songs performed were Separate Ways, Lights, Anyway You Want it, and DSB. I've seen other shows where Faithfully is in the mix, but not Sat nite.
