HOF Edit Blunder

I was watching the HBO broadcast of the HOF ceremony on my DVR last night, and noticed that the second time that the camera cuts to Herbie during Steve Perry's speech (the scene where Herbie is smiling), you can see a blurred version of Steve Smith in the background, sitting at the table! So, obviously, the grin that Herbie gives (at least in this scene) was not a reaction to Perry thanking him. Now I know that nothing on TV ever is exactly what it appears to be, and edits are made to help sell the sizzle…but I'm surprised that HBO let this edit slide, at least for the sake of continuity.

I can see a bald man to the right of Herbie, but can't say for sure that it's Smitty.

If it is, certainly a bad edit for sure
