RIP Stephen Hawking

I’m pretty sure he had forgotten more than what any of us will ever learn in our lifetimes. This world will never see anyone like him again.

Very amazing to survive so long with a horrible disease. Also amazing to me is he was married for 25 years to
A Christian woman, knew the interworking relationship of Physics and its intraquences to our universe as good as
Anyone, And yet still believed there is no intelligence behind the creation of any of it. Just recently he announced
He knows what happened before the beginning of the universe, I beleive now he does.

He did an interview for Star Talk with Neal DeGrasse Tyson where he was asked what was before the Big Bang and he said there was nothing before the Big Bang. Then he described his theory. The look on Neals face was total confusion. There was a discussion period with another theoretical astrophysicist. She described it as imagining the Earth as the universe of spacetime wrapped around a globe. If you are on the surface and tuold to go north you can only travel north so far and then it ceases to exist because you are at the north pole. It is the same with the universe. You can only travel back in time so far before it ceases to exist because you are at the pole of spacetime and time and space cease to exist.
