You "come on now": you insist they have no album and their success is entirely the result of hype and and airplay/stream.
I just checked Discogs and last year (2017) they released a 4-song EP on both disc and vinyl, and an 8-song "MiniAlbum" on Republic and Lava that got issued on CD no fewer than six times in North America, Europe and Oz.
This year (2018), they do have an album out, Anthem of the Peaceful Army. Ten songs, issued on CD five times and seven freakin' times already on vinyl in several shades including piss-yellow. Yeah, somebody's riding the wave.
"99%..." You're a serious fanboy.

I heard bit of Geddy Lee in his voice.
I'm hearing some Joplin in there too. The more i listen the more i hear. I just hope he doesn't blow a chord.

So anyone who points out your error is a "dick." Now I get it.
Aaron wrote:Not really. What error? They didn't have a cd out, they had an EP or two out depending on when you're talking.

Try the present. Not last year. Now.

If being a dick means I posted the right info (courtesy of http://www.Discogs.com) and he copied it, then that's the specialized jargon you choose to use in your corner of your backwater dumpster. Just own it.

And? This is what I posted on Page 1. You're now agreeing with me, but pretending you weren't saying they didn't have an album?![]()

The data I mentioned on the previous page. Who's the bullshitter? (Hint: you.)

Not only are you a delusional moron who doesn't know when to quit, you're an unabashed fanboy of a band that's copped its entire sound from LZ's first two albums. If the average age of those guys was 35, nobody would care.
Keep up the great work.

Listen to him crack at 1:09. This is why I hate it when guys try to cover songs sung originally by talented female vocalists.
And Cake's cover of "I Will Survive" is another turd entirely, because Cake's singer has NO voice to begin with.

My point is they are more than just a LZ soundalike band. You said up above, "You're an unabashed fanboy of a band that's copped its entire sound from LZ's first two albums." You are just flat out ignorant of the band, their history, and what they are truly influenced by.
Monker wrote:So was I, until I started researching them a bit. Yeah, they covered "Rollin in the Deep"...and I think they did a very good job with a very tough song.
Monker wrote:But, if you keep looking, you can find them doing good covers of The Doors, Howlin Wolf, and all sorts of stuff. They are heavily blues influenced, as LZ were. When they cover Howlin Wolf, they SOUND LIKE LZ...because LZ was also heavily influenced by that type of music. There are concerts on YouTube where their dad is on harmonica...and you can absolutely tell that HIS blues influence is all over this band. I'm sure they grew up listening to their dad's music and that heavily influenced them....at least that is what they say in interview. They are much more than a LZ soundalike, cover band.
