Thanks for this, they give it major props but they kept on saying it is not Steve Perry singing.

Your link brought up this one, Whos Cryin Now live in Houston,

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AT-R5vEiBIA

And yeah, what an awesome album cause Whos Crying now (which is great) and still pissed that top 40 radio cut off 1/2 of Neal's solo is my 3rd favorite song on the album, Mother Father and Still they Ride (1,2). They did the same thing on Neals solo on Be Good to Yourself and the light rock stations cut off the whole outro to Faithfully.

It's funny. His reaction was almost exactly that of Steve/Jon's thought process of the song. Hold that guitar back until they are begging for it, then let them sit back in the groove of the rest of the song.

As far as Steve's voice, this guy might orgasm on screen if he reviews Mother Father from Houston.

Completely Agree

Mother Father is my favorite Journey song. These 5 guys were truly an orchestra on this song, Neal at his best Perry at his best. But when Perry goes into beast mode on that falsetto, LIVE, unbelievable.

I stopped watching when they said it was a good "southern rock" song.

Not knowing who is actually singing a song, when reviewing it, is like turning in homework half done.
