YES. There should be a federal gas tax to push the price of gas to the point where electric cars and far cheaper to drive. The profits from that tax should go directly to promoting advances in batteries for electric cars and Biden's plans for creating charging stations nationwide.

As for electric and gas bills being higher, that's bullshit. More and more electricity is being generated by wind and solar power. Take the Bob Segar drive "east of Omaha" and see the countless windmill farms generating electricity. That is the future, not fossil fuels of any sort.

Basically, that is what I have been saying. Trump is not dealing with the issues that most people care about. He IGNORES the virus, he downplays it, he LIES about it - saying there will be a virus within weeks, we are rounding the corner, things are getting better. This was not a campaign rally. It was to give a speech about Biden's plan on how to deal with the virus. He could have done it anywhere in the country...it would not matter. It was to address the issue and put it on record...all of the things that Donald Dumbass doesn't do with this issue.

In contrast, Trump ignores and/or downplays the issue. We're rounding a corner (as cases his record levels), we will have a vaccination within weeks (when no expert agrees that this is even possible). Yeah, the virus is going to magically disappear. He is saying the same type of things he was saying nine months ago...and it is all bullshit.

When you look at the snap polls, almost all of them say Biden won the debate...which surprised me. But, on the issues that people care about, Biden won...especially on the virus.

There is no way Fat Donny can catch up. This election was over after the first debate. I just wish he would leave office on 11/4. Who knows what kinda chaos he is going to create following his loss.

Even far right leaning polls like Rassmussen and Trafalgar have Trump losing.

Everybody keeps comparing it to 2016, but it's NOT the same. Where is the FBI investigation on Hunter Biden which will be reopened at the last minute? Where are the demands to read Biden's stolen Emails? Why is Biden's favorability so low? Where are the calls to "Lock him up!" Where are the demands for building the wall? Where are the third party candidates getting at least 5% of the vote?

None of these are issues this time. The #1 issue is the virus...and Trump ignores it and yet says he did a good job (a good job of ignoring, that is true). We are rounding that corner, even though it is infecting more people than ever before. He failed the country with this one issue and tens of thousands of people died because of it - THAT is what people care about in this election.

Months ago I said that Trump had a choice. He could lock down the country and have the economy suffer horribly. Or, he could keep things open and kill thousands of people. He chose to kill people, and he is going to lose his job because of it. The American people will fire him.

What Biden is saying is no NEW fracking...and to stop subsidizing the oil industry. To use that money to subsidize and invest in alternative energy, such as wind and solar. That is the right policy for the future. I, for one, completely agree with it and believe it is about time we moved away from archaic energy policies and start moving to the future. Most other countries are already doing this...the US is BEHIND. That is NOT where we should be.
