progressives, and moderate republicans do not want Trump. there is an opening for someone to take advantage.
Here is the problem. If the election were held today, Trump would win. Most Republican's WANT Trump. Despite his corruption, lack of values and morals, even his complete lack of actions demonstrating an understanding and wanting a democracy or republic. Republicans support anarchy. They WANT it. They want a Napoleon to come in and declare themselves king of the United States. Their unwavering support of Trump PROVES that.
