Those bastards! LOL would have loved to hear that the other night in Canton! I've been diggin that song lately. Looks like the same setlist except for them taking out "OTY" as the opener. Hopefully someone recorded it and put it up on youtube.

A mistake to start a concert with this song. Who starts a concert with a beer break song.....C'mon man.

Eh, two ways to look it. Not a bad idea to open with it because everyone’s really excited to see the band arrive on stage. By the time that excitement wears off, they’re starting a hit, and they just got away with playing a new track.

Not the best opening song. Especially with Arnel straining and sounding slightly off.

Why don't they go with Together We Run instead?

Does anyone know why there's enough room for a plane to land downstage between the band and the audience? Strange design - unless it become a mosh pit or something later in the show.

Lots of orchestra shows take place at CMAC which may explain the design

I noticed him straining a bit as well. Look at the crowd, now granted they look like they just got off a bus from the local nursing home but i'm checking pulses its so dead.

This is exactly how it played out. I like opening with a new song. Styx did it with Brave New World and it worked the same way.

Together we run would have been better, though.

Opening with Come Away with Me into Only the Young? AWESOME!
Bands always used to open with their newest stuff. Good to see Journey get away from the safety net of 'same old, same old' and challenge what passes for an 'audience' in 2022- come on, kids, tear yourselves away from your phones for 5 minutes and you just might get hooked and have a 'moment'. Most people ain't 'gonna go for a beer' on the first few songs, so way to be smart and slide that in there. MAKE them hear it. Smart move as far as I'm concerned.
And holy crap, the first 5 songs are tough tunes to sing. While Arnel is a bit raspy, he's hitting all the notes in the original keys and - surpassing them in pretty amazing ways. I mean, some of the notes not in Stone in Love that he's adding- holy crap. Then in DSB, on that B (the money note), he goes up to an f'ing C#?? Wow. This guy continues to inspire vocally. Hardest catalog in the business.
NO. He's NOT Steve F'ing Perry. But he's Arnel F'ing Pineda and I'm okay with that.
