The trailer for the new Fall Guy movie features the new version of Any Way You Want It which took out all of Neal's guitars and features Perry's vocals from 1980. This has got to stop. They could have just used the original song, but no. They have to neuter the Journey rockers one by one. In 100 years, people are going to think Journey is Air Supply.

You're making it sound like Perry is hacking the classics up and shopping them around.

If there is a 3rd song the music is removed on, regardless if its cool like Separate ways, I'd have to wonder what the hell is happening. But for now... I'll assume they were just trying to duplicate the success they found with Stranger Things.

But I think that it is going overboard to keep removing Schon's guitars or any other instruments from past Journey songs.
If Perry continues to remove other instruments from past Journey songs, then Journey should release an edit of a past Journey song that Perry sang on with Perry's voice being heard at nothing more than a whisper. Which is basically how Perry sounds for real these days.

This is the third song: Separate Ways, Only the Young, Any Way You Want It.

Geez... I completely forgot about Only the Young. I liked that one. That's enough, though.
What was Only the Young remix used for again?
