Singer is not up to the job. Not bad, but struggles with high parts of Stay Awhile (3:25-3:29).

I wonder if Miles has ever considered actually doing a tribute band.

Miles was actually in DSB for awhile. Best Journey tribute band out there IMO.

Great job by Miles but the singer struggled a little.

Ya know, if the singer was actually singing the song, he might be pretty good. But it seems to me that he's just trying to sing Steve Perry, and not the song. Doing all the residual fades, vocal acrobatics, and nasal phrasing, is just an attempt at SP. I find it hard to listen, and watch. Again, if he would just sing the song...

This singer has now been officially announced as the lead singer of Chicago.
I hope he pulls it off better than Journey.

He is going to be a disaster singing Peter Cetera/Jason Scheff songs. They should beg Scheff to come back.

He made his debut yesterday. It's about what I expected. You can hear the strain, the pinch, the pull. I'd be amazed if he lasts.

M'eh. I gave up on Chicago a while back. Danny Seraphine, the original Chicago drummer, has his own project. CTA California Transit Authority. Way tighter than Chicago, and they bring the feel of the early days with Terry Kath.
Side note - Danny spent some time with Steve Smith to brush up on his chops when he started this group.
