Of a Lifetime last night.

After the issues of Neal trying to continue JTT without Gregg and Gregg having to stop him, and the band using Gregg's name constantly in the soap opera social media fiasco with Arnel during the anniversary tour, it doesn't surprise me. Gregg loves the fans, that is obvious to me. But, it makes sense if he now wants absolutely nothing to do with the band.

The setlist was very deep, heard a lot of the same, but was glad to hear Of A Lifetime, Dead or Alive, and a bunch others. The coolest part was the intro to Wheel in the Sky, and having a Tornado Warning go off on everyones phones. We sat there and didn't care, and the music continued with no interruption!
Had a blast and will miss the guys!

Whatever it is, it can't be good.

I’m wondering if it’s the 2027 dates or scrapping 2027 all together and calling it a day when this current tour is done. The next leg starts in only 4 days so I can’t picture anything changing with the current tour.

Neal- “Here’s 40 more shows”

The pacing was a bit off, the middle part of the show demonstrably dragged on, too many back-to-back jam songs, it was uneven, the jams should've been a bit more spaced out instead of grouped together
AP is definitely struggling but sounded much better in the final half/third of the set, beginning with Open Arms. Autotune maybe?
The stage and production were amazing with the lights and screens and pyrotechnics, I wish Journey had been consistently hitting this level since 2008
"Suzanne" was probably the highlight for me because my late mom loved that song, and it's just a great moody tune
"Keep On Runnin'" hit me pretty hard in the feels because Jon and Neal stood back-to-back for the solo and the outro jam, just like they did in the 80s and how they did in the early AP days
"Wheel in the Sky" was fucking awesome with the My Hometown extended jam
If this is the last time I see Journey (and it's looking like it is), I can say it was worth the money
