Rush - Vapor Trails.

I've been reading a huge interview with Rush in Classic Rock and that put me back in the mood for them.

Love it. Townshend is a genius.

He's also a registered sex offender, who paid money to view pornographic pictures of children............for research.

My album is Fiona - Beyond the pale
I finally got my hand on the Wounded bird re-issues, FINALLY!

My AOTW is Radioactive - Ceremony Of Innocence. I haven't put it back on the shelf since I discovered this one the past weekend. :D Favorite tracks: The Story Of Love and On My Own.

If anyone knows this album... I've been trying to figure out what song the opening verse of When You're In Love reminded me of. I think it was an eighties song, but I just can't come up with a band or track title.

Yeah, fair call mate. That was very bloody stupid of him to do so.
The 'registered sex offender' thing is a technicality though, because he actually didn't do anything other than access a website........not something I would contemplate doing though, in a fit.

You are right about it being a technicality, the man was most probably a fool. But saying that, there is still something rather sinister about someone who looks at a website like that with nobody else to corroborate his story, his research excuse loses all credibility.

yeah, I don't have an argument for that Rock........I believe it was a mistake, but that doesn't make what you say untrue.

ATOW is Trouble by Without Love. The vocalist on disc is Charli who sang on the Tour De Force. The production isnt great, but good all the same.

I'm glad you'vre changed your opinion Tali. They are a great band, and while Tony Kakko is a great singer, the rest of the band are not too shabby either.

My AOTW is Mercenary's 11 Dreams again. It's a great album, I can't stop playing it. :D

Its awesome. I just read that when its released in the States its gonna have 2 bonus tracks...and the Jap version will have a 3D version of the song 11 Dreams. Mnemic used this new 3D mixing on their latest cd....good in headphones...hard to notice on a car stereo.

Is there such a thing as shit powermetal?

Rhapsody :D

Is this the band that had Christopher Lee do the video with them? If so I didn't know wether to laugh or cry.

My Album is Deadline - Mind the step
They don't look like a rock band but they sure know how to play a catchy song.

I didn't play a single cd this week. I've worked every day since my last AOTW...

So, my AOTW will default to...and for an unheard of 4th week in a row...Lunatica "Fables & Dreams!!!"

Might be subject to change. Got plenty coming in the mail within the next week or so.

Oh yeah, my AOTW... Still haven't made up my mind whether it should be Fates Warning - X or Opeth - Damnation. I'll pick both this week...
Opeth is beautiful for in the evenings, as it's so quiet, while Fates Warning has that vivid guitarsound, that makes me feel happy in the morning.

Though time has not been on my side, my AOTW goes to Within Temptation "The Silent Force." I like that they've toughened up without losing their style. Their new single "Stand My Ground" has hit single written all over, and it would be a total waste if it wasn't marketed in the states.

I haven't heard the whole album yet, just the stand my ground single. It doesn't sound too tough to me, but maybe the rest of the album is.

It took me a while to appreciate Dare - Beneath The Shining Water, because it's doesn't add much new to their previous work, but it still is a nice relaxing album.

Bobbi, you need to listen more to Rammstein. For starters, it's "des Woches"... :P

No, you're not clutching, indeed it is a Marillion album.

Actually it means "of the week". The Germans have this thing for conjugating their articles, making it virtually impossible to learn their language...
