I've successfully played my Star Wars CD until I puked, so now my AOTW has changed over to be Hold Your Fire by Rush. I found myself singing "Turn The Page" over and over in my head until I pulled it out of the CD shelf and dropped it into the car.

I wish my AOTW was Kamelot's new album, The Black Halo, but it isn't because I haven't got it yet. I only just found out they had a new album released. So, my AOTW is Reptilian's Thunderblaze. :D

It's been released in Japan S-dip. Everywhere else on the 14th March. It's been getting rave reviews so hopefully it'll be as good as the last couple.

Good! I haven't missed the release then! :D I've read mixed reviews though about the album... I don't know what to expect, especially with all the guest singers on the album. Dimmu Borgir and Epica are not really my favorite bands...

I see the board still has hiccups. ;)

I have a feeling Millenium would have sold just as many copies, had they only released disc two. I still need to meet the first person who bought this album because of disc one.

Right now I don't have a different AOTW aside from the obvious.

So I'm gonna use my DVD of the Week, which goes to Genesis "Live: The Way We Walk." The multi-camera angle options absolutely rules on this disc. I just flip the angle to Tony Banks, and watch a demonstration of pure keyboard bliss throughout the show. 8) I call it "How To Use a Prophet 5 and a Korg M1 Simultaneously...among other models." 8)

Well, I can't watch Tony throughout the show. The multi-camera option is off during the drum duet.

Would you like to see what Tony was doing during the drum duet then?

My AOTW is Pain Of Salvation - The Perdect Element pt. 1. They've managed to combine rap, melody, Queensryche-like vocals, Opeth-like transparency, metal and acoustic guitars very tastefully. Favourite songs are 3, 5, 10 and 12. Song 10 has a wonderful guitar solo, a little in the vein of Pink Floyd, while the other songs I mentioned all share the same theme but still sound like different songs nonetheless. :?

Tonight I shall celebrate the excellence of this album by ordering my own copy!

I'm speaking prematurely because I haven't bought it yet, but my AOTW after I leave work should be "Octane" from Spock's Beard. That will hold true if it's as good as I've heard on their website.

I heard them play a couple of songs from that album last week, but since I am hardly familiar with their repertoire I can't say much about it. It only seemed to me that the songs on Octane were a bit more mellow than their previous work.

Not really. He was probably wiping the sweat off his face or switching to a different keyboard patch. He does that alot during his breaks.

About the duet...amazing how Drum Phil was able to pull that one off after the energy he expended on vocals during that show. You wanna talk about a singer/drummer with some serious stamina!

Or he was doing something else... depends a bit on how long the solo is...

Last week I discovered I like drum duets! :D I would like to see this one too, even though Genesis are not my favorite band by far.

Better get some Lamisil AT or some tough actin' Tinactin before it turns you into a giant mushroom.

I'm beyond that stage, fortunately. 8) Masterplan shall conquer ALL!!! BWAHHAhahaha!

...

Oh yeah, my 3rd rate AOTW goes to Genesis "Nursery Cryme." 'Return of the Giant Hogweed' and 'Harold the Barrel' are underrated Gabriel-era classics from this album.
