Great music you picked. ;) I really love that band!

Pour me a Droe Rooi too...i'll have a drink with my sistas.

As for the cricket...the poms mashed the 'desh last night...scored 381...one of them scored 112 of 80odd balls and then took 6 wickets....i think the ashes will be a different story....Warne will tear em up.

It's brass monkey weather here Snakey. The heaters have been working overtime.

That mean's it's cold enough to freeze the balls off a brass monkey, for those of you who are not familiar with the term.

Life's been busy. My older bro (not the one who does the band stuff, but my other bro) closed on his new home yesterday, and I've been helping him make it livable. Not much else to say today. It's gonna be a few busy days cleaning the place up and helping him move out.

He's put up with so much bull over the years, and now he's got his own place to live on his own. He deserves it.

Hello everybody!

Tomorrow we're celebrating Mid Summer here in Sweden, funny thing is that it has just started and now there's only a couple of months to go before the snow starts falling again! Life is great, isn't it?

Jonny's gonna have fun cleaning, what's everybody up to?

Thomasha, your optimism is heartwarming!

BTW I thought Mid Summer Night was two days ago! I've been wondering, does it get dark at all where you are?

S-dip, it was two days ago but we're celebrating it Friday! It hardly gets dark at all this time of year, you never get tired, just wanna stay up and rock all night!

I didn't know what to wear tonight so I went to the market and bought a pair of black leather jeans, really cool. The salesman said they had been in stock for well over twenty years, pure vintage stuff! So here's the outfit I'm gonna wear tonight, a very modern approch, early 80's style!

White boots, Richie Blackmore style 80's.
leather pants.
A vintage Europe - Wings Of Tomorrow tour shirt.
Waist short black leather jacket my brother wore in 1983. He just laughed when I asked for it.

This IS fashion!

Yes, it would be indeed!

Well, I'll have what you are drinking, but without the soda and coke please.

Is 30 ml the standard size for a shot? I tend to pour until the glass looks generously filled... somewhere between 1 and 2 cm. I wish they'd do that in the bar I visit as well!

30ml is a 'full' shot, 15 a 'half'.....I have two 30ml shots to cut down on the mixers.......I don't free pour cos they get stronger and fucking stronger as I get drunker!!

Yeah, I have that too... I tend to love myself (as well as the others I pour for) more and more with each drink!

As you can probably figure, half shots are an entirely new concept to me!

You are all wonderful friends, I just wish that one day we could all meet, partying together and have a great laugh!

I got a little sentimental today whilst going through a bunch of photos from a long time ago. I had almost forgotten  a pic of me and the late great Phil Lynott, taken way back in the summer of 1983 on the Three Musketeers tour he did with Brian Downey and John Sykes. I know, shame on me but I'm going to make up for that and ask my band mates to help me and put the picture online!

Hope you all had fun last night!

Hope you had fun last night as well, Thomasha!

Looking forward to the picture of Phil with a very young Thomasha! Seeing how big a Lizzy/Lynott fan you are, that must have been a great day for you. ;) Nice to re-discover that one, I can understand it made you sentimental.

Today I'm catering for Bobbi and his friends... they are working on a couple of songs and recording them. My job is to serve drinks, order pizza and the like. Very important job! In fact, I'd like to think that makes the succes of the project depend on me!
