Aside from the fact it rocks, Kim Wilde is so hot. I can't believe she looks better than ever.
LOVE HER.

Great track, with poignant lyrics! Have you heard the cover done by Joe Lynn Turner on the Maiden tribute album Numbers From The Beast? A great tune, and it really lets you hear Turner sing something really hard and heavy which he rarely does.
Nope. Haven't heard that one.
I certainly prefer this track over "Aces High", which I've always thought was a bit overrated. Not bad, just overrated compared to some of the other stuff on that "Powerslave" album.

I love this one though:

Dave - have you ever seen the show that was sampled from? It was a cult hit in the UK in the late 1960s called...unsurprisingly enough..."The Prisoner". I'm not sure if it was ever big in the States - although there was a parody of it in "The Simpsons".

Yeah, I watched part of an episode here a few months ago.

It's not very good is it?

Funny how well that song suits the metal treatment....

Ah, the mighty 'Tage. Good selection.
NP: Breakdown ~ David Coverdale...from a decent solo album just prior to the original Whitesnake lineup.

Yeah, that was Zachary Stevens. Great singer but he didn't have that high, shrieky falsetto that Jon Oliva had. Doesn't fit it as well. I actually like the era from "Gutter Ballet" through current day better, though. Anyway, Stevens is no longer with the band. Oliva was the lead singer again for their last studio effort "Poets & Madmen" (2002) and the have another new lead singer by the name of Damond Janiya. He toured with them on the P&M tour but I didn't catch them then so I don't know what he sounds like.

Matthew wrote:Yes - he's more restrained than Jon Oliva....but I loved how over the top Oliva used to be.
What are Jon Olivia's Pain like? So far I can only find poor quality vids on You Tube....
