The Cowboys averaged 6+ yards per carry against the Pats this year. Should be interesting.

I know LT only had 43 yards against New England earlier this year, but he wasn't getting yards against anyone at the start of the season. But in his previous starts against NE, he had 123, 134, and 217. That's NOT including receiving yards. Doesn't mean they're going to win, but it would HELP keep Brady off the field.

Dude...forget what Tomlinson did against New England earlier in the season. He's been DREADFUL this post season! He has 70 yards on 28 carries, for an embarrassing 2.5 yards per carry! That simply isn't good enough for a stud running back. If San Diego wins this game today, it won't be because of Tomlinson!

Gary...
If you read the predictions, I'm the only non San Diego homer who even predicted a close game. Everyone said the Patriots would blow the Chargers out, and I knew all along that this game was going to be a dog fight! There probably won't be more than 3 points separating these teams, when it's over. This is the NFL...ANY team playing right now is good enough to beat any other team, undefeated or not! Honestly, I'm FAR more concerned with how abysmal the Patriots offense looks right now than I am about anything San Diego is doing. The Patriots definitely have the most talented team, but the most talented team doesn't always win in the NFL!

If news doesn't come out, after the season, that Tomlinson has a serious injury...His reputation takes a HUGE hit, regardless of what San Diego fans say! I'm not going to criticize the guy at this point, because I have no idea whether or not he's injured (although they're calling this a "coach's decision", which is absurd). I just think he better hire himself a good PR guy to put some kind of a positive spin on this, if he isn't really seriously injured!

If that's the case, Tomlinson shouldn't be coming out and telling the media that he's 90%, before the game starts! The reality is that most guys in the NFL are lucky if they're 90%, at this point in the season! Point A: More talent? Laughable.
Point B: Pre-season favourites? According to whom? The Patriots were pretty much universal pre-season favourites.
I'll have some of what you're smoking please. Send it to my P.O. Box.

If you were worth it, I'd go back and look them up for you. But, unlike the civilized conversations I've had with some others on here, you want to talk shit. Go ahead. Maybe someone will listen.

NE is the more talented team...Easily. Yes, the Chargers are talented compared to most of the other teams in the league, but this is NE. Come on.

You are mistaken. I think you forgot a guy by the name of Wes Welker! I think the other thing you're overlooking is that one season is never like the next, even if the players are the same. The reality is that if the core team is intact, they should be a better, and more cohesive team, just by virtue of being more experienced. Listen, you don't have to give the Patriots their due. I think we're all pretty okay with the victory, regardless of what anyone else says! That said, they are now THE ONLY team in the history of the NFL who can ever lay claim to 18-0, regardless of who might have more talent!
Let's hope this Patriots' victory didn't send Mercury Morriss over the edge and back to his cocaine habit! That poor bastard is probably crying somewhere right now, along with Dolphins' fans everywhere!
