Bwahahaha....because the news originated from Steve Perry (v his promotional 'tools'). Hell, that'd stand up in most courts without a legal path to appeal.
Very unf*cking cool! Calling L&C tools?!
well, it certainly was not meant in the way that *you* interpreted it. Lay down your rediculous assumptions. In this particular case, promotional people = tools. i.e. items that a person uses to get a job done.
Ya ok, why just quote the word 'tools' then, how should that have been interpreted?I'm not an idiot, Frank.
Deb, the fact that the word "promotional" preceded the word "tools" made it crystal clear as to which definition of the word was applicable, and it certainly wasn't the derogatory meaning.
If that is truly how he meant it, then....my bad. My question is though, why put quotes around the word "tools" if you didn't mean it to be interpreted that way?
Honestly, while I can't put words into Frank's mouth, I think he meant it as a sign that he was pointing out that it had a different meaning than the normal use of the word "tools." Frank?
I put quotes around it for just the distinction Dan outlined...Just goes to show, you can say anything here and it'll get a warped interpretation the minute it gets written to the database.
From your previous heated posts, I guess I interpreted it the wrong way, honest mistake. My apologies.
