I will always be thankful for the time you and George visited me in the hospital, after my surgery......you know like George's.
Anyway, miss ya man.

Dear fucking God. If this forum wasn't BT before, it sure the hell is NOW. STOP WITH THE BAND MEMBER APPRECIATION THREADS. It's gay and it makes this place look like fluff.

My sentiments exactly. And they will stop. There is simply no need for it here and I have asked there is no more of them.

We are all here as we appreciate this band already....all the bloody issues that go with that, plus we love hanging out and arguing with all members of the dysfunctional fanbase.

So with that, let's move on.

So you are going to put together a list of what types of threads can be started, and what cannot? I appreciate the fact that you don't want to start having this place be a BT wannabe...but really, if you honestly think this type of content is wrong...why do you even have this place online? So why not ban all the content on this board that has nothing to do with Journey first? Oh wait, cause that would leave very little content at all....

Agreed. There are a few malcontents here that simply hate the fact that message boards they've tried to spin-off from here have failed. Because of that, they're left with no other option than to come here, bitch and whine and hate on Journey. They use the guise of "This is turning into Back Talk" to ruffle Drew's feathers and then go hide and laugh at him when he comes out and admonishes some of us. It's spineless. So many fucking malcontents have sworn they were "done" here, but at every chance come slithering out to bitch, bash the band or both. Stick to your word, stay at your shitty spin-offs sites and get the fuck outta here for good. The old tired crew with the new user names and their supposed IP blockers are a joke, too. Like we don't know who you are.

Behshad wrote:Hey Saint John,,, Are you seriously agreeing with Onestepper that Andrew should lock and ban any non-Journey related thread in this forum!? I dont think you agree with Onestepper , but you just said agreed cause you didnt read his post well enough to understand what Onestepper really meant.

Actually, it appears you are the one that needs to learn how to read. I wasn't advocating locking all non Journey related threads. I was saying that if you are going to censor content that is related to Journey specifically, there is other content on this JOURNEY board, that I believe could be kept out first. I don't advocate banning any content that is not harmful, or offensive.

Onestepper,
Its Andrew's board and he has the right to say what topic he wants here and what topic he doesnt want, without having to provide you with any lists or rules.

It was going to be a real nice thread. Very polite and classy thread, seriously. IF, I stress IF, Andrew ever allows these to be resurrected I will consult with you on the Swafford thread.

You are correct, it his his board and he will do as he wishes. But just because I own a business, doesn't mean that I'm not open to hearing an opposing point of view. If he chooses not to hear that view, or gets upset with me for saying so, oh well, such is life. I hope that is not the case.

I didn't say it to start a fight.

I didnt think you posted to start a fight.
And I doubt it if Andrew will get mad at you for casting your opinion. Its just hard for people to realize Andrew's position. He tries to please everyone, even if he doesnt have to .... He has to try to keep the balance maintained between whats fun, entertaining and or heated debates and what could turn into a war with namecalling ..... Kudos to him not only for keeping this place orginized, but also for being able to babysit so many different charachters/personalities, but mainly kudos to him for being able to remain SANE , day after day, while trying to live a normal life AND raising his online children...

thank you. i'll save my speech on how all of us plodders make the world turn.

ESCAPE is ROSS. He carried that album on 4 strings.

1-800-ROSSROCKS. call me. i'll tell ya how I really feel.

my story Tito--i was going through a rough time in my life--2 small children, a baby and a newborn and i had been deserted for months by the hubster. i listened to ESCAPE every night and waited for the bass line to carry me away to slumber. i honestly believe that one thing alone saved my sanity. it kept me grounded, in a way, and was the one thing that i could count on daily to be solid.

besides the poop diapers, of course.

so now you know why i am sooooooooooo not ROR!!!!
