Agreed. There are a few malcontents here that simply hate the fact that message boards they've tried to spin-off from here have failed. Because of that, they're left with no other option than to come here, bitch and whine and hate on Journey. They use the guise of "This is turning into Back Talk" to ruffle Drew's feathers and then go hide and laugh at him when he comes out and admonishes some of us. It's spineless. So many fucking malcontents have sworn they were "done" here, but at every chance come slithering out to bitch, bash the band or both. Actually, it appears you are the one that needs to learn how to read. I wasn't advocating locking all non Journey related threads. I was saying that if you are going to censor content that is related to Journey specifically, there is other content on this JOURNEY board, that I believe could be kept out first. I don't advocate banning any content that is not harmful, or offensive.

And I doubt it if Andrew will get mad at you for casting your opinion. Its just hard for people to realize Andrew's position. He tries to please everyone, even if he doesnt have to .... He has to try to keep the balance maintained between whats fun, entertaining and or heated debates and what could turn into a war with namecalling ..... Kudos to him not only for keeping this place orginized, but also for being able to babysit so many different charachters/personalities, but mainly kudos to him for being able to remain SANE , day after day, while trying to live a normal life AND raising his online children...

Ross is a great bassist. He was a huge contributor on Escape and Frontiers. People don't always realize that at times you just need to compliment the superstars. Those superstars were Perry, Schon and Smith. Ross doing anything but masterfully complimenting those guys would have been a negative. He did his job by not overplaying. This dude has been jamming for 40 years for a reason. Because he's very good. Ross brings smiles and laughs and is a constant goofball. Fans love him...at least this one does. Viva Ross!!!

my story Tito--i was going through a rough time in my life--2 small children, a baby and a newborn and i had been deserted for months by the hubster. i listened to ESCAPE every night and waited for the bass line to carry me away to slumber. i honestly believe that one thing alone saved my sanity. it kept me grounded, in a way, and was the one thing that i could count on daily to be solid.

besides the poop diapers, of course.

so now you know why i am sooooooooooo not ROR!!!!
