Whoa, whoa, whoa! I'm not a huge Mr. Big fan, but you can't be lumping Sheehan and Gilbert in with Bang Tango.
I realize Sheehan doesn't have the ability of a Ross Valory

, but they had some good songs, and Eric Martin is a solid vocalist. "Addicted to that Rush," "Daddy, brother, lover and little boy," and "Colorado Bulldog" are all solid songs.

Oh hell no.

Mr. Big had some of the worst lyrics ever written. They had to be high. Hard to take their songs seriously because of that. martin is a pretty good vocalist, though. He was a much better fit in a real band like TMG.

I win...period. Comparing Steve Perry to Eric Martin is like comparing a rare Rembrandt to me drawing pictures of my pecker on a fucking Etch A Sketch. And comparing the musicianship in Mr. Big to the musicianship in Journey is equally as absurd.

If you read a couple posts up, I re-thought about it and changed my post to "pretty darn close".

If worlds apart is close then yes.

I call B.S. on part of your above statement. You're telling me that Billy Sheehan can't hang with Ross Valory? Puh-leeze.![]()
Also, I'll give Schon the edge, but Paul Gilbert is a MONSTER player. I won't put Torpey in the same league as "Machine Gun" or Deen, but that guy can play as well.
Also, Eric has range, power and soul. He's not in Perry's league, but your analogy is WAY off base. Replace "Eric Martin" with "Vince Neil" or "Stephen Pearcy" in the above statement and then you've got something.
Come on, now. Grab a glove and get in the game. Just because you're playing left field doesn't mean you're not a part of the team.

Err... no.That's another great J song that was FINE the 1st time. Enough of this re-recording shit. Bad enough they (or walmart, or whoever approved the promo material) are trying to pass off FITH as a new song. Now this? Do NEW stuff or hang it up.

Well, faux pas or not (I still haven't listened to them)...
