Just because she used the lipstick bulldog thing a few days ago... it's a common saying.
Gimme a break.

THAT'S WHAT EVERYONE HERE HAS BEEN SAYING...No one seriously believes he originally intended to mean that it was about Palin. However, it's also obvious that the crowd AND Obama both caught the untintended message behind it. He didn't apply it to her on purpose but, looking back, it was obviously not a smart thing to utter.

Lula wrote:congress is stuck....wait for the next election. the fact that the maverick voted 90% with bush is frightening. mccain is a different man today, 8+ yrs ago he actually was interesting, now he is just playing the game to get where he wants to be. obama's record may not be the best in some eyes, but for my stance he is much more to my liking.

I've been insane long before it was popular.

That is complete BULLSHIT. In the other thread, it started with people taking the comment completely out of context and calling him an idiot. Now that you know the context, you are all taking the position that he should have rebuked the crowd...as every commentator has done on the various news chanels.
You are all just a bunch of followers with an inability to think for yourselves.

He is an IDIOT for having uttered it. His body language says he KNEW he shouldn't have said it.
I will give him the benefit of doubt that he didn't mean to say it, but never the less, he understood the ramifications as soon as he started saying it.

This world would stop spinning if McCain or ANY Republican said something like that. My God! They are even trying to intimate that the talk about community organizers at the convention was racist.

Dude, nobody has the power to do that alone. Even a US President.

i look forward to some real debate on the issues and less of the bs smears.... however, it seems obama has just taken the brakes off the liberal 527s, i imagine the next 8 weeks will be ugly.
