Can one person stand up in here from the bickering and tell me you at least realize this the most pointless asinine discussion ever. It's not even a debate. You guys are running a "my horse is faster than your horse" contest. Both sides of you! No one is going to achieve anything or change anyone's mind and from an outsider's POV you're arguing the same shit over and over. Doesn't anyone see how redundant this is? :shock:

1st of all the "separation" is NOWHERE in our Constitution. What examples do you have of Palin of "imposing her beliefs on others?"
The north imposed their beliefs on the south, because they believed slavery was wrong and a sin against God. Should the north have butted out there too?


Actually, even if you take "God" out of the North vs. South slavery equation, slavery was still wrong. It then becomes no longer about religion but instead about human rights. So yes, the North was right to do so in that situation.

I'm glad he said it...The more I think of it, the more I think he planned. Maybe he KNEW the blowup that people would have...and that it would bring that style of politics out of vogue so they can move past the "personality" conversation that McCain wants, and on to real issues, which McCain obviously does NOT want.

If I walk up to you at a black-tie event and, unprovoked, and punch you square in the mouth...despite the fact that it was a mistake to do something like that at the event, because it was inappropriate and unjustified....it doesn't mean my punching you wasn't premeditated.


No, it means YOU made a mistake because I wouldn't be at a 'black tie event'.

Obama didn't 'punch' anybody. It's WORDS.

Now her supporters cry like a bunch of whiney little babies, the press over-analyzes the entire thing, dragging it on for weeks as if they McCain leads them by a leash. This isn't what the election will be decided on...it's a NON-ISSUE. Everybody knows, even you whiners know that.
