Well, luckily our founding fathers wrote about God in those documents which prevents you being forced to believe anything. It's totally up to you. Likewise they (including Palin) are free to believe what they believe. This is 180' from terrorist nations.....and it's Palin you fear?
I fear Palin because she's not afraid to impose her beliefs on others. And I believe that separation of church and state SHOULD prevent that from happening!!!
1st of all the "separation" is NOWHERE in our Constitution. What examples do you have of Palin of "imposing her beliefs on others?"
The north imposed their beliefs on the south, because they believed slavery was wrong and a sin against God. Should the north have butted out there too?

Sometimes you do and sometimes you don't. The difference is you NEVER acknowledge when a non-conservative makes a valid argument. EVER.

Yeah, the whole "I'm right and can't accept any other point of view, so I'm gonna show everyone how right I am" thing gets really old, really quickly. That's why I'm stopping now.

Uh... yah. That's how politics has always been. It's along the same lines as the Journey singer of the day v. Steve Perry threads.

Yes, dear. But I do that once. Not repetitively. There's your difference. Insanity... doing the same thing... expecting different results.

Again, you are talking out of your ass. I do not hate Barack Obama. Every time someone calls you out on either a wrong statement or proves you wrong, you say one of two things:
1. Thanks for proving my point or
2. HYPOCRITE
I'm not even sure how to take you anymore at all.

I want a Steve Perry vs. Rambo thread.

Dude, nobody has the power to do that alone. Even a US President.
That's right. If the USA can survive Bush, it can survive anyone and anything!

So, which one of the dozens of analysts did you get this from?
You ALL are just repeating what you hear on CNN/FOX/MSNBC/Blah, blah, blah.
Do you have anything original to say that I didn't hear a dozen times on TV yesterday?
I'm glad he said it...The more I think of it, the more I think he planned. Maybe he KNEW the blowup that people would have...and that it would bring that style of politics out of vogue so they can move past the "personality" conversation that McCain wants, and on to real issues, which McCain obviously does NOT want.

There was no threat of terrorism in Iraq until we started a war there. We CREATED more problems by starting that war.
I doubt ANY potential President from EITHER party would have let 9/11 stand without a military action. But, there is approriate action, and stupidity. McCain, and anybody else who voted for the Iraq war, was acting out of stupidity.

He was? Shit... I could've sworn I'd remembered him being a democrat. Maybe it's because of his whole "free the slaves" crusade masked over a regain the revenue from the South's cotton & tobacco bumper crops that made me think he was a dem. Yes, I said it, the Civil War was fought over $$ not people. You just need to read the right books and learn all sides of the stories, ya'll. Fuckin' Yankees had slaves, too.![]()

It doesn't really matter to me whether Lincoln was a Dem or Rep. Eventually Americans (and Im not one) have to work together to solve their ills. Bickering is really very old and pointless.
