This is the most ignorant and false statement I have come across in a long, long time.

Stu, you have insulted me again and again on this thread. You've called me stupid, unknowing, and just flat-out wrong (even though I proved I wasn't). i haven't used that kind of neo-con Rovian bullshit at which your party excels.

Have haven't insulted you in a long time...I can start again if you a feel left out or something...

You are flat our wrong most of the time...doesn't mean I don't like you...no matter what liberal hack site you get your data from...I still like you...I think your comments are those of an idiot at times (as I am sure you think the same of me)...

But Clinton was FORCED to cut taxes in starting in '95 and because of the tax cuts to capital gains and the like money was freed up to invest in our economy...that isn't ignorant or false...that is factual history.

I suggest you go read about it more.

lol, rwf. i'm not going to spin here. he is doing alright. i'm fine with this. it would be mccain's worst nightmare if he didn't pull this one off; it's his only chance at winning.

I didn't hear that at all.
Besides, your party isn't above using anything as a prop, up to and including looped footage of the twin towers crumbling.
Nice of you to locate your easily-offended sensibilities in time for the debate tho.

You seriously crack me up.

Yeah, after expressing relief about Tim Russert's passing, you kinda just have to laugh and smile a little when he cracks on someone else's sensibilities.

Actually all I have heard on the economy and foreign policy in this debate from Obama is "Senator McCain is right, but I think we need to do things my way rather than McCain's way."

Which is kind of disturbing.

I still think that Obama is going to win now.

The debate's a draw. Obama does look better than he usually does in debates. McCain is doing better than I expected.

do you believe McCains economic proposals offer significant movemnt back to Reaganomics compared to those of "Bust 43" ??? ( I like that nickname, by the way. )

Im truly trying to understand what it is McCain will change vs the Status Quo that will have a significant impact on the current economic mess.

Can you help a brother understand ?

No - beleive me Im not jumping up and down in joy about McCain on economics. I love the man for his service and the fact that he can protect our nation.

On the other hand I dont think he will raise taxes on a slowing economy, Obama will (and that will really kill us) and if McCain really does veto earmarks and cut wasteful spending, I think that is at least that is making a decent start.

I'm just being honest.
You guys piss and kevtch about the media selecting these shitty candidates for you, well who do you think made that executive decision if not the NBC News Chief?
Voices were excluded and candidates like Obama and McCain were showered with attention.

He has certainly endorsed McCain's ideas...it's the execution of them that is the difference here...

Nothing in tonights debate really distanced one from the other...they look like...and pardon this turn of phrase...photo-negatives of each other...both show the exact same thing...just all the colors are switched.

You know...who cares? Really I mean...they are both politicians...Hindsight is always 20/20. Both look back and see mistakes...as well all do...they tell us they will change things...and they all say that...and then they get in office...and not much changes...

I pointed out the hypocrisy in making light of Obama's bracelet versus McCain's, when BOTH stemmed from grieving mothers.

This was more of a draw than anything else. Neither candidate really impressed me either way or swayed my opinion. Obama did more of what the moderator wanted and addressed McCain directly, hence "John". McCain talked more at Jim Lehrer and the camera than he did to Obama.

Personally, I think the veep debates will be much more entertaining.

He probably did...Obama wins the next one...Biden slips up and says he wants to bang Palin in the moose hunting kiester...and in the end...we are the ones who get anally raped for the next 4-8 years...until the next Penetrator-in-Chief comes along...it's the same thing...every 4 years...and has been for a long time.

The issue is not the grieving mother. That wasn't even close to the point I was making and YOU KNOW IT. It's just easier for you to get on your high horse and turn it into something totally unrelated to avoid what I ACTUALLY said.

I really have no idea how McCain would do as president, but I really got this sense that we would have a commander-in-chief that would definitely project the "don't even fuck with us" demeanor that makes me feel safer as a joe-blow citizen.

All I know...........................

is......................................

if I.....................................

have to spend.............4 ............... years..........................

listening to a president......................................that speaks.................like...............

he is ........................ giving final.......arguements...........to the............jury...............I'll go....

FUCKING NUTS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

And don't change the subject to G W's delivery...I know...it sucks too.
