LOL
I love watchign US news channels (when travelling) and Fox News was part of a cable package down under...but I can't bring myself to watch it...some of the worst journalism I have ever seen or witnessed for bias and factual errors.
Not to mention ignorant "news" readers.
And during an entertainment section one night the dickhead was saying how he was still waiting for Boston to get back together. He must have missed their 2000, 2002, 2004, 2006 and 2007 tour dates. What a tool.

That's the LAST thing I am...you don't fucking know me! I was at death's door one year ago, so don't you profess to tell me who I am.
Oh, OK, enlightened one. I've always said I admired McCain.
What I have an issue with are the lies and attacks...on both sides. It's just that a LOT more of them come from the Right. Let alone the right-wing hate-mongers Hannity, O'Reilly, Katz, Beck, and Limbaugh...people against whom there is no recourse in the mainstream media.
THOSE people are angry. Angry, overpaid, fat white men. And the lies and hatred they project make my little diatribes look like Barney songs by comparison.
So lay off.

With all due respect:
1) MSNBC is the ONLY left-leaning mainstream media source;
2) Fox was around WAY before MSNBC;
3) Olberman is the ONLY one about whom that can be said;
4) At his worst, he is more balanced than Limbaugh and his cronies at their BEST.

like i've already said, i think the mccain ticket is making a mistake with this one. there are those "ties" with questionable characters, racists, crooks, etc in mccain's closet as well. let mccain push this issue while obama talks about what really matters to the american people. it isn't like this ayers stuff is new news, it had been known throughout the primary and nothing came from it.
As of right now, there is nothing more. I know people are trying to find out more and have been blocked. As of now, the only thing I can really say is that if I had knowledge of a character like this, I wouldn't have anything to do with him - EVER.
I have plenty of reasons to not want Obama to be POTUS and about 99% of them are his policies. I don't need any more than that. I don't think McCain will be all that much better and up until he actuallly put a conservative on the ticket, I had no intention of voting for him either.
what people are trying to find out more and who's blocking them? this to me is news.
seriously, if ayers truly was a criminal, a homegrown terrorist, then why is he a free man?
policies, imo, are the only way to vote.

Examples please.
RossValoryRocks wrote:BWAHAHAHAHA! Now that is funny. Check out any newscast on ABC, NBC or CBS on the broadcast side. CNN, MSNBC on the other. NPR (A government run show) is even worse, and it above ANY should be non-partisan!
Oh wait...you wouldn't see it is biased, you think it's the truth!

The vast majority of news anchors are rip and read drones - so I guess your beef is really with the commie scum over at the AP and Reuters.![]()
As far as TV commentators are concerned, that playing field is dominated by Conservatives.
7 Wishes wrote:CNN...right.
So, the liberal counter to Beck would be...whom?
The right wing media, including Fox News, The Washington Times, and the editorial page of The Wall Street Journal, are not interested in conveying the truth. They exist to further the cause of American conservatism by advancing stories and themes that work to the benefit of conservatives and to the detriment of liberals.
The claim of media "liberal bias" is a myth used by conservative politicians. Propagating this myth serves three functions. First, it creates reluctance among mainstream media outlets to cover issues that conservatives don't want them to, for fear that they will be accused of having a liberal bias. Second, it allows conservatives to deny or dismiss reports in the mainstream media, regardless of whether they are true, because they have discredited the source already. Third, attacking the liberal media can be effective at increasing conservative voter turnout.

You misspelled the word "plagiarist," incidentally.
And here we go with the name-calling again.
Fuck you, Stuart. Goodnight.

YOU start this shit EVERY time. I shouldn't even validate you, but I'm not capable of that sometimes. Especially tonight.
But let the record show...AGAIN...you started with the name-calling...AND the physical threats.
Like I said, next Journey show ANYWHERE within five hours of Charlotte...come looking for me. We'll finally get to talk!

Sorry, man. My bad.

Moron, idiot and traitor to your country as far as I am concerned. No wonder you like Obama: you fit right in with the people he idolizes. Though I hope I get to meet you face to face someday.
Jana wrote:Chris Matthews is liberal. And he just has such a Hillary Clinton bias. I've never been more disgusted by the idiotic, demeaning sexist comments on Hillary Clinton and then his lovefest for Obama. When all that shit went on, that's when I really came to admire her. A few of the Democratic-leaning hosts (I don't call them newsmen) were so out to get Hillary and were salivating over Obama, and that woman just took hit after hit. And she could sit down and talk policy, issues, you name it. You didn't have to agree with her, but you had to admire her intellect.

Like it or not, this war is going to come to an end.
Since an overwhelming amount of the Iraqis want us to leave are they traitorous cowards?
When the Prime Minister of Iraq endorsed Obama's exit plan was he too being a gutless wonder?
No doubt when McCain says its time to leave that will be bold leadership and not a case of cutting lady liberty's legs out from under her, right?donnaplease wrote:Such as his comments about our military killing innocent civilians.
Those were taken out of context, and he is 100% on the mark.
The civilian death tally in Afghanistan did outnumber insurgents.
This concern was expressed by the Afghan president to George Bush as well.
"We’ve got to get the job done there and that requires us to have enough troops so that we’re not just air-raiding villages and killing civilians, which is causing enormous problems there."donnaplease wrote:Such as him talking about the war as a mistake.
It isn't? Do you think Vietnam was righteous and just?
donnaplease wrote:I don't get your second comment. Military donations? What does that mean?
Obama has beaten McCain in campaign donations by servicemen. And Ron Paul, arguably a more anti-war voice then Obama, is right below him.
