Thank God I chose my team's softball playoff game last night over the AC/DC concert or I wouldn't have a job right now. I highly doubt I would have passed the alcohol test had I gone to the show last night.7 Wishes wrote:Shit, dude. Ouch! WTF!

If the pain gets too severe, I'll send Delta Burke and Rosie O'Donnell over to sit on your face. That should provide significant enough tortured diversion.
I've been saying all along that McCain should have been at every race. Palin would have went over extremely well too. He should have had ads in battleground states during those exciting races in circles. Or maybe he did.Fact Finder wrote:ZOGBY: MCCAIN MOVES INTO LEAD 48-47 IN ONE DAY POLLING
ZOGBY SATURDAY: Republican John McCain has pulled back within the margin of error... The three-day average holds steady, but McCain outpolled Obama 48% to 47% in Friday, one day, polling. He is beginning to cut into Obama's lead among independents, is now leading among blue collar voters, has strengthened his lead among investors and among men, and is walloping Obama among NASCAR voters. Joe the Plumber may get his license after all...

Arnold just ended any chance of an Obama victory. LOL. What a hangover cure this AM, good ol Arnie

I actually like Arnold and thought he was fantastic on the stump for McCain. The problem McCain has is that it's a day late and a dollar short. I think if he could have brought some of this star power out sooner, he'd have a fighting chance. Unfortunately, the Republican camp has very little star power and doesn't have a Bill Clinton to campaign for them.

I'm not sure Arnold's politics matter much, in the national sense, because he simply isn't eligible to run for President!

I'm not sure that even the Mafia has as many corrupt people!

Clinton, his personal shortcomings aside, is one of the biggest personalities to ever occupy the Office. Just incredible. I really like the man, regardless of what I think of his policies. So yes, some definite "star power" there.
Arnold is just hilarious, love the guy. It's too bad he, or at least someone with his same moderate views, would never get through primaries. Doesn't happen on either side of the aisle

Well, the precedent has been set for court battles and elections, so if it's a close race, you're correct.donnaplease wrote: I think the controversy of this election will make 2000 look like a picnic in the park.![]()
If the election is close, I agree with you. If either party wins this thing in a resounding fashion, there will be zero mention of any controversy!

Here is my conclusion: It's actually an unbelievably good idea from a political standpoint, but it's evil from a moral one. His plan is simple; he's going to give people that currently pay no taxes even more money. This will obviously keep these people poor. Why would someone want to work hard and try to get ahead when they're already getting paid to do nothing?!?!? Hmmm...go to work for $8 an hour and wake up, travel and work 40 hours per week versus sitting on your ass, sleeping and/or watching Springer, while collecting only a few dollars less per month? Tough choice there!!!

I heard some Obama voter being interviewed and she was saying that when Obama becomes President, she won't have to work and support her family anymore.

I don't try to sound smart any more than I lie to advance a political agenda.

where is there an 'an up the welfare benefits' in obama's tax plan? you gotta work to pay taxes and as i understand it is the working class that will (hopefully) see a break. as a working class momma i could use a break- what i can't use is the unheard of taxing of health benefits
